App has unintuitive user experience features. I bought the bodyscan scale, and it doesn't automatically activate the features in the app that come with the flagship scale product. Finding the settings took research. Unsatisfactory. Furthermore, the connectivity between the app and the scale is abysmal. I updated settings in the app, and the last time it synced settings was an hour before. There doesn't appear to be a way to manually sync. The scale keeps saying measurements are inconclusive.

Absolutely cannot get my older scale to pair with the app. Probably spent the better part of an hour trying over and over and doing the trouble shooting steps. Tried to contact help but they make it purposefully difficult to get through. Frustrated to have an expensive scale and can't even use it for anything other than weight. Shouldn't be this hard.

Absolutely terrible, constant data loss from readings not being uploaded. This could be one of the worst investments I've ever made. it has never worked properly for longer than a couple of months without major tinkering and aggravation. All the back and forth with the company still have the same problems I would strongly recommend anybody just stick to a simple scale and avoid this at all costs

I'm using the Body Comp scale. This software is just okay, but I would like to manually order my home page and I would also like to be able to select certain metrics only shown once I enter sections in the home page. I like what you might consider cluttered home pages that tell me everything instead of being compartmentalized. The app also randomly moved my fat/muscle ratio to the bottom from near the top. And it's the main thing I focus on as I lose fat and gain muscle to ensure that I'm okay.

terrible app. very difficult to locate data. unable to see the status of the scale from the app. not sure if the scale is even syncing or not because the data is not displaying. when I first got the scale it worked fine, but if you have any substantial weight change, the scale will forget who you are and stop transmitting or displaying data. withing's answer is for you to factory reset everything. the scale part works fine but it's awfully expensive just for that.

It works alright but it keeps showing me the weather in Fahrenheit. It showed my weight in kilo even before I set it up. I can disable the weather feature but not set it to a unit of measurement that carries any information to me, and although I am aware that it's not entirely rational, that fact alone is annoying me enough to dock two starts from my rating.

Used to have 5 stars, but syncing has become clunky, needed to reconnect the device regularly to capture the last few weigh-ins. These should auto-sync over wifi as soon as the measurement is done, especially after pulling down to refresh. This also means the other apps I have linked do not get the data in a timely manner. Should have paid up for the Garmin scale.

The app has gotten better recently. Some previous technical problems have been rectified. But still: the app freezes when you first open it. The graphs are poor. Basic data like how much weight have I lost in the last 30 days, moving averages, are not displayed in the app. Version 4 of the app was better. No details about changes made to the app are available.

This scale isn't even close to accurate, super frustrating for what it costs vs. what it does. My blood pressure reading has been correct once on it in 2 months which is whatever, no big deal. Where I get frustrated is the scale itself. How can it be accurate if it reads different things (more than 5 pounds difference in some cases) by just moving the location of the scale a few inches? I check to make sure that there is nothing under it and it's free of obstructions, still inaccurate.

I can tell this is a good app. However, I'm having an issue with the app doubling (or more) my step count. As much as id love to do 30,000+ steps in one day, that's not the regular whatsoever 😂. I can assure you I've tried everything... spent an hour and a half troubleshooting everything but re-downloading the app because I don't want to lose my stats. Posting this to hopefully resolve, and post for any others that are having the same issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G.

I no longer have the sync issue with Bluetooth. It takes about 15 seconds to sync now. I still think there should be an option in the app to manually sync the app with the blood pressure monitor (BPM Connect) in case there is a sync issue in the future. The "update" option in the app just says that the app is connected to the device but it doesn't sync. The app should also add a list of blood pressure readings in the health report.

The application has become buggy with the past few updates. It hangs with a notification message saying that it is syncing to Health Connect and that this could take a minute. It never completes the syncing and hangs. Wiithings app becomes non responsive. I have to use Force Stop. I've cleared the cache and then all storage use by the app as well as uninstalled and reinstalled. No improvement.

The app keeps crashing. customer support is non-existent. I waited for an hour staring at a screen just for the privilege of text chatting with a support agent. I've been a loyal customer for years but I'm returning my most recent purchase and probably not ever buying again. I'm deeply saddened as there is nothing else in the market comparable to their watches but I think they should have just stuck with them and not tried to expand into all these other devices.

Every couple days, I'll have to uninstall this app and reinstall it, as after a couple days of working fine, it will stop getting the step data from health connect. Itjust stops every couple days. I've done this for about 6-8 times already. Once installed again, it will take another 6-12 or so hours before it would start getting the data for my counts again. All permissions are enabled.

Keeps forgetting the distance set on activities. Good otherwise. Edit: 3/28/23 Still no fix... Edit: 4/5/23 reducing to 1 star, still not fix to missing distance Edit: 08/23/2024 I wish I could reduce the rating even further. The month steps view doesn't even show certain days on Android app. Their solution is to see it on the web. What's the point of the app then? The walking GPS connection is now also broken - only works if you open the app after starting the walk workout mode. Pointless...

It's a decent app, but I'm very analytical and want more control over how to view my data such as changes in water weight a day. It's not straightforward on how to customize. For this to be a scale intricate and intelligent enough to measure body composition I find it interesting that they by default want to show me my BMI when it's long been established that the BMI is not an accurate assessment of someone's health. I don't like that it's present and can't seem to get rid of it.

I've had Body + scale for few years didn't have an issue. Now, after changing batteries, the app will not pair up, gives me generic "an error has occurred", no other details. Tried reinstalling the app multiple times. Their help page is of no use. Also, even without the app, the scale displays in kg even after I selected lbs and got a check mark but still goes back to kg.

I don't have reliable data to compare to, but body comp is quite different from my old scale, but is more in line with subjective visual reference, so it appears to differ in a more accurate direction. I also needed to set Athlete Mode, not that I meet their listed criteria, to get a reading at all. Had I not read about it and tried it, I would have returned it because it wasn't doing the primary function I bought it for. But now that it can scan me, I am very happy with it so far.

App is flaky. Editing a workout saves and then reverts to the original data. Unfortunate, because the distance tracked by the scan watch is always incorrect. After noticing that my daily edits were reverting, I started uploading a photo of the treadmill screen after my run. Unfortunately, it's impossible to view photos uploaded to a workout after a day. You can see that there is a photo because there is a space for it, but the thumbnail doesn't appear and clicking on it shows a black screen.

Update 9.17.25 I'm no longer getting notifications for Google messages on my scanwatch. I have the application set for notifications in the app, along with the default "messages" option. I have done a unsync/resync of the device, and for about 3 weeks now it's just not showing those alerts. It's been frustrating because getting a text is one of the more important alerts I'm used to getting and now it's not working. It feels like this is a software issue of some kind.
