Description
Been using Word on Fire Digital for a couple months now. It’s basically a streaming service with tons of Catholic video content. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of stuff.
Here’s what you do: you can browse through their library of shows and documentaries, everything from the CATHOLICISM series to topical programs on theology. There’s also a bunch of talks and lectures – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful. And you can watch on any device, which is pretty convenient.
Look, if you’re into Catholicism and want to explore the faith in a deeper way, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Word on Fire Digital. I've tested a bunch of Catholic/religion apps and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The video content is top-notch, and I like how you can watch on the go. But it's not without its issues - the app can be a little clunky at times, and some of the programs are a bit dry. Still, if you're looking to dive deeper into the Catholic faith, this is a pretty solid option.
Pros & Cons
Pros

- Some of the programs are a bit boring and academic
- The interface is not the most intuitive

The content is great - beautiful, educational, moving. App is easy to use. (I do wish they would number the episodes of the series.)
