Reviews for Work Log Pro

I've had this app a few years now, started with the Lite version than decided it was worth paying for. It absolutely helps me keep track of my work hours and the widget it very convenient. The ability to add notes for myself on where I worked as well as being able to input my wage and pay schedule helps me keep accurate track on my paychecks as they come. Also, if you need to send in your hours to your HR this app can compile a spreadsheet with the info you need.

Great!! Finally found an app that is simple and can track hours, location, and pay by either pay period or annually for on-call subbing job with school district. Work on July-June fiscal year. App Developer was so gracious and helpful to edit this app so that I could use it. Awesome!!! Thank you so much for the edit. Now city, state, county and Gov employees who are not permanent and subbing like me at different jobs can easily keep track of work done.

EDIT: I forgot that there is a specific naming convention you must use in order for it to properly restore. 'worklog.db' is the only way. Phew lol Not very happy! I factory reset my phone after a latest update and the backup failed me! I exported to my Google Drive and the export is a dud. Whenever I import the file, nothing restores. Years of work history gone because of this app. Not very happy, because I trusted this app and it was a big part of my routine but now it's all gone...

This is app is great for work. The only improvement I wish they could make, would be to implement a 24 shift clock. I work a night shift, so anything I record after midnight automatically starts a new day. This is frustrating because I can't keep one of my shifts on a single day. If I could schedule my "day" to be from 6:00 PM to 5:59 PM the next day, then this app would be perfect! If you don't work nights, this app is 5 stars!

The app is generally useful, but it has a major issue: it doesn't count hours as overtime after 8 hours per shift. I’ve tried to configure it, but the overtime column still shows up empty. Also, in the totals section, it only shows total hours with a total balance and overtime hours with a separate balance. It would be much better if it were divided into three: regular hours, overtime hours, and total hours, each with their own balance. I hope this can be fixed in a future update. Thank you!

This app helped me out greatly with a shady employer. They kept shorting me hours here and there but they did not keep record of how many hours for each day so I use this app to track my hours and call him out every time there was hours missing. It is also handy to figure out how much your check will be for before you get it if you input your wage rate.

LOVE this app!! I've been using this for over 3 years and it's never failed me. Its helpful to be able to put it automated shifts...so if you work 9-5 most days you can set that. This app allows you to put in your hourly wage so you can get an idea of what your paycheck will be. You can edit, look back to a specific day and what I really love you can send as a pdf! It's a really helpful little app that didn't cost much to upgrade to pro. I definitely recommend this app!

Great app for keeping track of my time at work. It lets me export it so I can send it to my boss or keep a paper copy for myself. It can keep track of deductions, breaks, and other useful info. I just wish the exported table columns were a little wider. It cuts off the dates. Overall, very good!

I use this app everyday. It's great. The "pro" version supports multiple jobs, so I use it to track hours for some of my classes at school as well as my part-time job, and any side-projects I do. Works well. Feature request -- for the developers: When I "punch in", I can't tell which job the shift is going into. Could you add a dropdown on the "punch in" screen that allows me to both see and change the active job? I've screwed up my timesheets a couple times because of this.

Great app. Very helpful for helping me keep track of my hours and making sure the business doesn't screw me over Haha. Unfortunately, if I can't remember my break, I think a great feature would be this app calculating simply by typing in how many hours was worked for after putting in the clock in and clock out (and leaving the break blank).

Like this app much. Used it for a couple years. Functional... especially the ability to add multiple jobs. However there are a few additions that would blow it out of the water for me. One is to be able to view the shifts I've worked in a specified period (say pay period) across multiple job names. Such as select jobs from list and view the hours worked for them in a pay period. The other is to be able to Mark hours as paid so that a subtotal of unpaid hours is viewable.

Excellent, intuitive and time saving. I recommend this app to anyone who needs to keep track of their hours. My husband and I love it so much, we bought the paid version for both of our phones. I use it for my full time job and he uses his for his side IT consulting contracts. You can store multiple jobs and select your pay rate, pay period and lunch breaks so you know how much your paycheck should be.

Used the free version for awhile and it was great and stable. Bought the Pro to get multiple jobs and export. Fantastic! Can't work without it now. Set it to 15 minute increments so it's simplified. My only complaint is that the exported data in excel doesn't recognize the date other than as text. And one request is to allow the job to be chosen as you punch in. I tend to forget to change it during the punch out and I often have shifts in other jobs. That's it. Great job, developers!

LOVE this app! It helps me keep track of my schedule and pay. All the options in the settings allow you to track ALL aspects of your job. Highly recommend!!!! One additional feature that I would suggest. my mileage pay changes throughout the year based on the cost of gas. When I change the amount it effects the whole entire year. It needs to be able to only effect from the date entered until altered.

i love how you can keep track of all your time and wages and the days that you have worked. it takes a little bit of time to learn how to navigate through the app but really not that difficult just be patient. i wish it had a calender as well so you could look at the days you have worked as well instead of just month day year (march 15 2017). another thing i wished they had an option for per diem.

It's a great start but it gives you no way to view your total hours for any given day nor does it let you export reports for all hours worked across Multiple jobs for any given time period. I work as a computer tech for 3 companies where I have to keep track of my hours worked for each department in each company. An onerous task, which is why I sought out this app which is one of the more comprehensive ones I've found, but I feel it could be fleshed out more.

This is a decent app, but it falls just short being useful in the pro version. It says you can restore by emailing yourself the export file and then just reload it, but that really is not an option in the app. It does not allow you to change the name of the default job (the one you first used before the upgrade). When you go to frequently asked questions it gives an error. There is no way I have found to get any help understanding the navigation. Have more comments but no space left to write

I've used work log and work log pro for much of my career. It really does a wonderful job to tracking everything perfectly with just the right customization options to customize any job situation. If you ever have a question with how to set something up their customer service is really helpful too! Totally recommend if you are looking for an affordable and reliable way to track your hours!

Love this app. Use it track my hours, overtime, and I use the note area to remember if I had a trainee that day (bonuses.) Extremely useful and have used it several times to correct payroll. The knly improvement would be if they added a "bonuses" feature. For example, a check box that would allow me to add a bonus pay for that day. Still an excellent app. I highly recommend, and recommend pro if you have more than one job to track.

I would say the pro version is better then the free version that's why 3 stars. BUT as it's a paid version I don't think it gets 5 stars until it can have multiple raises as I currently for retail and private school and you get a yearly raise.... Not just 2 over all, as most common jobs give regular raises, id still like to keep track of all of those. It also lacks the ability to select multiple shifts to update their job titles (which you put in the wrong place from being exhausted and working 3 jobs, this feature could be turned on and off for those of us who would use it or for those who are upgrading to the pro version to add multiple jobs on 1 instead of using multiple apps). If those things were adjusted and they add an actual color choice of not just light and dark themes but light green, dark green, light purple, dark pink, light orange, dark blue etc.. 2 shades of 7 or 8 colors, you know actual COLORS, for the different job selection (as in each specific job is a different color if you choose, or craft job dark red, grocery job light green, college job dark blue. Default color can match the theme) as well as over all theme. I'd give it 5 stars and suggest it to people I work with who also try to try and work multiple jobs or do contract work. I also use this to track the time I spend on my college studies and family time as well as volunteer hours so the different colors would Make a HUGE difference for me personally as I'm sure it would others. Thanks for you time and the app.
