Rewards feature bugged? it's been several weeks since I noticed at least once a week it glitches and stops working. eventually they are awarded, but then it just messes up the following day even worse. app just gets worse.
Cloud Gaming no longer functions, eother via app or browser. It'll work just fine on my tv and ONLY my tv, and then constantly suffers random crashes, endless loading, or failed page loads. especially on my android-based Retroid. I can't do a single thing with Gamepass on my device. my device is fine. Xbox functions everywhere else. Please fix these constant problems, It's been happening for several days.
this app only has two features that matter. 1. you can buy and download games when out of the house. so it's ready when you get home. 2. you can stream your console to another device. that way you can play in a room where you don't have a TV. the first feature has never once worked. I can purchase games. but they never download. so that's 50% of the reason for the app gone. the second feature has now been removed. you now have yo go threw a browser. it's unusable. the latency is terrible. 0/5.
I don't know what happened, but since they did away with the game pass app, I went to log into the Xbox app and couldn't. it just wouldn't let me sign in. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it wants me to set up a gamertag. I already have one as I've had an Xbox series S for almost 3 years now. Just one more thing, I've earned enough Microsoft points for a $10 Xbox gift card and Microsoft won't let me redeem the code. Nothing works, especially that idiotic "authenticator app".
Stop burying the Xbox remote button. One main reason I use the app is to type on my phone instead of using the horrible on-screen keyboard. Terrible. Can't find prices for games. Hard to find Xbox Gold games of the month. Why can't you just search for and buy games? ... console keyboard in the app is stuck behind the keyboard. you can't see what is being typed. Why can't I post reviews on games through this app? Leaving reviews on the Xbox in the game store is a terrible experience... . . ..
overall, it's nice to have a chat app that connects with my console. I have been having a major problem with notifications and not receiving them, even though all my notifications are on for the app. I use this as a main communication among family and friends to stay off social media, when I'm not getting the notifications and constantly having to open the app for it to load and then tell me I have messages, like, c'mon. You notify me about game sales, but not my personal chats.
Still keeps deleting my console after each update. Not sure if it's console updates or app updates. I keep setting it up for remote play then every time I try to remote play it says I haven't set up a console. If you want to use remote play you shouldn't have to check it each day before you leave the house to make sure it's not missing. How is this so difficult to get right? Can't Stream Games Anymore! I have Game Pass Ultimate and meet all the requirements to use cloud gaming, but there's no option for it for me anymore and I have no idea why. All I get is an option to install to a console (which doesn't work either 90% of the time). Microsoft products lately have been a complete mess. I do not plan to resubscribe to Game Pass Ultimate when it expires. Pure trash!
Some update in the last few months removed the ability to see what you are typing while sending messages to friends. The keyboard completely covers the text box. I dropped my review score down 2 stars because the email connected with the app in the play store doesn't work. I tried to send it an email, and it was undeliverable, which led to me changing my review, so hopefully, the developers see my issue.
I have had an Xbox since 2003 ... This constant pricing rise is too much. The Value isn't there for the price. Honestly I hate Fortnite, So that makes this an even bigger slap in the face. Once my current subscription runs out I'm either severely downgrading or as much as I hate to say it after so long changing platforms entirely. Most Games out now you don't even need a console to play anyway.
