Been using the Xcel Energy app for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one utility app for Xcel customers. You can use it to view your billing info, make payments, report outages, and track your energy usage. Pretty solid if you’re an Xcel customer.
Here’s what you can do – you can log in to see your current bill and pay it right from the app. There’s also an outage reporting tool which is pretty useful. And you can view detailed usage graphs to see how much power you’re using each month. Took me a while to figure out some of the features but it’s all pretty intuitive overall.
Look, if you’re an Xcel customer, this app will probably come in handy. It’s not perfect – the outage reporting can be a bit buggy sometimes – but it gets the job done. Worth keeping on your phone if you need to manage your Xcel account.

So here's my take on the Xcel Energy app. I've tried out a bunch of utility apps like this and this one's pretty solid overall. The core features work well - I like being able to view my bill, make payments, and track my energy usage. The outage reporting is also a nice touch. But it's not without its issues - I've run into a few bugs here and there, and the UI can feel a bit cluttered at times. Overall though, it's a reliable app that Xcel customers should find useful.
