Not logging in. I was traying to install this app at a new mobile but the the login page is getting atuck at "Just a sec." Even with old mobile (which is having battery issues) where I have been using it till now, it is not opening profile page and getting stuck at same screen. Now I cant use my Mi Vacuum Robot because of this. Never buying any product from Mi again.
Suddenly logged out from account. When trying to log in again, asked to enter code from email. When switching to email app and back, the code prompt disappears and goes back to the beginning, where a new code is sent to the email. That on its own is already annoying and should never happen. Then, after going through the troubles to check the email from a different device, the code is invalid, even though I didn't mistype. Now I'm locked out of the account. Unusable app, completely unacceptable!
Xiaomi home is okay but I really wish I had my smart watch also integrated here/to smart body scale. As of now, I track my calories from exercise (and food intake) on my Huawei smart watch (Huawei health app) and it has got an option to link smart scale which measures body stats like fat, muscle etc. To meet this purpose, I have to use third party apps in Xiaomi.
This app is the entire reason to never buy Xiaomi devices. The robot vacuum itself is great. This app you need to interact with it, is a steaming pile of dog poo. Devices are region locked, so you can't even use them if brought to another country. Every action in the app takes ten minutes for the communist party to approve it. App randomly uninstalled itself and now acts like I never had an account. it is quite possibly the worst app ever created. Do not buy a Xiaomi product!!!
don't skip this comment. please read completely. I bought three of these cameras for my workshop from day one till date that is one year 2 months I'm facing the issue of not recording the video properly which is the main purpose of the camera. I've changed three other company SD cards. same issue. I've replaced the camera from MI once same issue continues. there is no proper support online and also the service center. people do not know anything about the camera. they just replace it.
I don't know what's happening, I do have an other brands of security cameras in my home, and they work fine, but xiaomi stopped working, and support team it's not helpful at all, this is not the first time when I do send my feedback and they never answered! shame because I am a fan, I hope that is just a moment for them. Otherwise, I'll switch !
I give minus 5 for camera and application. the worst experience ever. could not able to connect or check from the remote network. never got connected in a single attempt even in local wifi network. video recording struggles to play. videos struck everytime, doesn't it shows the buffering symbol. don't buy mi cam and don't use this application.
I use it to control a S20 vacuum robot, the app would be good if works. It allows to start the cleaning, but fail about editing rooms or picking which area to clean, it always shows an error of "poor network connection " which is inaccurate. I found many people reporting the same, someone suggeste change the country to China or Russia to work. Also, why the robot tries all the time to open the port 80 of my router? Very suspicious..
The download speed of the videos is very slow. Please fix this. If the download speed is so slow, it is very difficult to use the app. There are other problems like if the mobile screen is off, the download does not work, the video download stops, and then after a while, you think one download is done automatically, but the other download does not come if the screen is off. Please.
Earlier, I could view motion-detected recordings on my Mi Home surveillance camera even when the device was offline. But now, due to some glitch, I can’t view them at all — even when the device is online. The live feed works fine, but whenever I try to watch motion-detected clips, it just says Cannot load. Please fix this issue.
