So here's my take on the Y26 Retro-licious Watch Face. I've tested a bunch of watch faces and this one's pretty solid. The retro-inspired look is really well-done and the customization options give you a ton of ways to make it your own. The core features like the time, date, and health tracking all work great. Only real downside is that the companion app can be a bit finicky to set up, but once you get it going it's smooth sailing. If you dig that retro vibe and want a Wear OS watch face that stands out, this is definitely worth a look.

Pros

  • Tons of fun theme color options to choose from
  • Useful shortcuts for phone, messages, and other apps
  • Tracks all the important stuff like time, date, heart rate, steps
  • Looks super slick and retro on your Wear OS watch
  • Easy to install and customize right from your phone

Cons

  • Companion app can be a bit tricky to set up at first
  • Doesn't work with rectangular watches, only round ones
  • Customization options can be overwhelming if you just want something simple
  • Heart rate and step tracking aren't as accurate as a dedicated fitness tracker

Description

I’ve been using the Y26 Retro-licious Watch Face for a couple months now. It’s basically a digital watch face for Wear OS devices, with a really cool retro vibe. Honestly, I’ve always been a sucker for that old-school aesthetic.

There’s a ton of customization options – you can choose from 26 different theme colors, add shortcuts for stuff like your phone, messages, music, and more. And it’s got all the useful watch face features you’d expect, like the date, battery life, heart rate, and step tracking. Pretty handy stuff.

Look, if you’re into customizing your Wear OS watch and want something that looks a bit different, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the complications can be a bit tricky to set up at first – but overall it’s a solid option. Worth checking out for sure.

Looks nice. The battery indicator is not actually live and always shows 100%, so I hate that.
