I’ve been using the Yahoo News: Daily News For You app for a couple months now. It’s basically a news aggregator that pulls in stories from all sorts of sources and creates a personalized feed for you. Pretty solid if you’re into keeping up with the latest headlines, whether it’s about world news, entertainment, lifestyle, or whatever interests you.
Here’s what you can do – you can scroll through the feed and browse articles, watch videos, and even listen to podcasts. There’s also a search function where you can look for specific topics. And the app will learn your preferences over time and start showing you more of the stuff you actually care about. Pretty cool.
Look, if you’re the type of person who likes to stay informed but doesn’t want to be constantly checking a bunch of different news apps, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of Yahoo News. It’s not perfect – the ads can be kind of annoying if you don’t pay for the premium version – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out, in my opinion.

So here's my honest take on Yahoo News: Daily News For You. I've tested a bunch of news apps and this one's pretty solid. The personalization is really well done - it doesn't take long for the app to figure out what kind of stuff you're interested in and start showing you relevant content. And the variety of sources means you get a good mix of perspectives, not just one narrow point of view. On the downside, the free version has more ads than I'd like, and the selection of articles can feel a little generic at times. But for a news app that's 100% free, I'd say it's a pretty good option.

app no longer works since the last update. Just says "something went wrong. try again later" for the last week or longer. ridiculous
While using the cell phone app it would be nice to not have to go into settings-manage accounts- turn off account, then back out of it and log back into...
I love the app. it is great, except for the loud "Yahoo" sound it makes when reaching a read level when trying to read quitely. It is embarrassing!!!
