So here's my honest take on YASNAC - SafetyNet Checker. I've tested a bunch of Android utility apps and this one's pretty solid. It's simple to use, gets the job done, and the Jetpack Compose implementation is nice. But the daily quota on the API key is a bit annoying. And it would be great to have more customization options. Overall though, if you need to check your SafetyNet status, this is a reliable free tool.

Description

I’ve been using YASNAC – SafetyNet Checker for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you test whether your Android device is passing the SafetyNet Attestation API. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you just open the app and it’ll automatically check your device’s SafetyNet status. And there’s also a history log to see your past checks, which is pretty cool. And you can share the results – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into Android development or just want to make sure your device is passing SafetyNet, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the API key has a daily quota so you can’t use it endlessly – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
