Description
Been using Yi iot for a couple months now. It’s basically a smart home security camera app that lets you keep an eye on your house remotely. Pretty solid app if you’re into home monitoring and security.
Here’s what you do – you can set up the camera and then use the app to check the live feed anytime. There’s also a two-way audio feature, so you can talk to people at home. And the 111-degree wide angle lens is great for getting a good view of the whole room. Took me a while to figure out the panoramic view but that’s a neat feature too.
Look, if you’re into home security and want an easy way to keep tabs on things, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes and the notifications can get annoying. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a home cam.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Yi iot. I've tested a bunch of home security apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The video quality is great and the two-way audio works well. I like the wide angle lens and the panoramic view is a nice touch. But it's not without its issues - the app can be glitchy at times and the constant notifications get old after a while. Still, if you need a reliable home cam, this is a good option in my opinion.
