I've tested a bunch of budgeting apps over the years, and YNAB is one of the better ones I've found. It's not the flashiest or most feature-packed, but it gets the basics right. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the budgeting tools are genuinely helpful for getting a handle on your spending. The reports and analytics are pretty good too, so you can really dive into your money habits. The main downside is that it takes some time to set up and get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a really valuable tool. Overall, I'd recommend YNAB to anyone looking to be more intentional with their money.

Description

I’ve been using YNAB (You Need A Budget) for a couple months now. It’s basically a budgeting app that helps you get your finances in order. Basically, you link up your bank accounts and start categorizing your spending. Sounds boring, but it’s actually pretty helpful for keeping track of where your money’s going.

There’s a bunch of cool features – you can create different budgets, track your savings goals, and even share access with your partner or roommates. The real-time syncing across devices is clutch too. No more arguing about money with your significant other!

Look, if you’re always stressing about money or feel like you can never save anything, this app might be worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the learning curve can be a little steep at first – but overall it does a solid job of helping you get your finances under control. Worth a try.

Confusing, subscription is expensive for occasional use. The basic budget functions are okay, but trying to move beyond that into a 5 year plan is impossible. The app isn't at...
