l always find something cool and interesting. Different tones for each family member so I can decide whether or not to answer. Lol! The AI feature is a learning process that even at 71(yep, an oldies but a goodie) is easy to navigate. I am enjoying all the features and options and actually learning a ton about technology. My only complaint is, once you go down this rabbit hole, it's tough to just walk away. It's just so much fun!

Overbearing ads, painful to navigate now. Used to be a great app, at least make the ads unlock for a set time and not make me watch one after every click. Most of the ads trap you forever in loops opening the play store and never reveal an (x) or anything to escape either, so you just have to force close the app and open.. It's basically unusable at this point.

After years of wonderful free wallpapers, I am sad to say that I am uninstalling Zedge and discontinuing usage immediately. The interface is just overloaded. It was great as it was before (free with some premium aspects and some ads, but not too many). There are too many ads while searching and users are forced watch these long ads with sketchy button placement just to receive minimal credits. I won't be recommending this app anylonger.

Way to ruin a good app. From throwing little ads where you're about to click, full-screen ads that bring you to the app store for trying to close them, and sprinkle tons of shameless Premium advertisement on top. Now this app is unusable. I can't even navigate it, not without an ad interrupting me, of course. And right when I thought it couldn't get any worse, you just shoehorn AI generated garbage in there, pumping it into every nook and cranny, as if that's what people want. Ridiculous.

I used to love Zedge, since I found great wallpapers and ring/alarm tones on it, but since they released the AI sloppaper I can't find anything I want anymore. Too bad, it was great. Get rid of the AI and then maybe we'll talk. There are also too many ads and an ad even crashed the app and forced me to restart it to use it again. It really downgraded from 2020 :/ Honestly, it's not worth it anymore. I have Capcut so I can just make my own ringtones, and Ibis PaintX so I can make my own wallpaper

Update 2025, the ads have always been there, but now they are ridiculous and you can't even get out of them without closing the app and restarting... Still gave it a two cause I still love the ringtone and notification selection but took me like 20 minutes to download like 6 new notifications, because I had to keep closing the app. Love this app to change Ringtones and notifications. Huge variety. Haven't had any issues been using for a few months.

Ads Everywhere. I can't ever search for ringtones or text tones effectively, without ever other interaction forcing an AD down my throat. I have used this app for over a decade and loved it. But with these changes, I just can't anymore. Zedge isn't what it used to be. There are plenty of other ways to get what I need without Ads. What's bad, is they pop up for your subscription every time you start. I'm uninstalling this app.

This app is great all around and I've never seen another app where you can create your own wall paper, awesome!!! The only downside to this app is this: when I choose a ringtone that ringtone will only be there for less than 24hrs, then goes back to the default ringtone... I don't know why but from my experience that's the only thing I would change...

Terrific selection of free ringtones and wallpapers, but the ad placement is very aggressive. I honestly like the website much better. If I were to suggest improvements, there are two things I would change. First, I would decrease the number of ads in the app itself, there really does not need to be an ad after the user views every wallpaper or ringtone. Second the devs could clarify when a wallpaper is A.I. generated. From what I've seen, most wallpapers in the app are.

It's an amazing app....when it decides to work, which is never. It essentially never loads, but when it decides to on the rare occasion, it's fun to scroll and save a bunch of stuff. As for the never loading issue, I've tried many times to fix it, and I've taken the steps that it says to, so if anybody has any idea on how to fix it, please let me know!

You said you guys would fix the. Reduction of the ADS you have not, it has gotten worse. I don't recommend this to anybody now. Every time I click on something, there's an ad. Every time this is horrible, zedge used to be amazing every time I set my wallpaper, it doesn't do what it's supposed to, if I say, do lock screen, it does lock and home screen.And I have to open and close the apps several times because the way ads work, it just keeps looping and doesn't let me get what I need to

I've used this app for years but I've slowly watched it go down hill. Used to be able to find wallpapers with video game or movie themes, but now every search result just shows AI slop that has nothing to do with what I searched for. The ringtone and text tone section is still okay, but the ads have gotten worse and more frequent. I understand ads are a part of free apps, but now they seem to pop up every 10 seconds. I'm going to try to find a different app and get rid of this one.

Using Zedge on my iPhone wasn't half bad. but honestly, the android version is TERRIBLE. The UI is clunky due to so many ads Injected in popping up and down all the time, and even just talking a ringtone brings you into a side scrolling UI that's clunky too. it gets 2 stars because it's functional, but I hate using it unless I have to. banner ads are fine and such, I get it, ads are necessary for free stuff. but popping them in and out of the list at random, and full screen ads, gross.

good sounds, would be nice to clip sounds. THE ADS! ads will randomly pop in between two sounds which forces you to click if your tapping quickly. then as your playing sounds, it will randomly open the individual sound instead of playing, when you back out you have a minute ad, but if you stay you aren't getting sounds within your search. this is by far the most annoying add filled app I've ever tried. You can pay to remove, but it also doesn't need to be overrun

One of my favorite apps for my phone. Even the free version with ads still lets you do quite a bit, but I bought the premium ( lifetime ) and it was a very reasonable price. I use this to assign specific notifications for friends, group threads, individual ringtones and constantly changing my wallpapers, even created a few of my own with their AI generator. Well worth your time if you want to invest in learning it.

Don't bother buying a subscription. I was just trying to support them I've used Zedge since it was free. 120 seconds after I pay for a lifetime subscription I try to get a wallpaper, my very 1st wallpaper and they required me to the purchase credits after just buying a lifetime subscription. This is misleading, greedy, and just overall a and product. It used to be so good too. Went way downhill, I am extremely disappointed. I would waste your money just get what you can by watching ads.

I have used this app for many years...sadly it's gone downhill. Every two seconds, another ad, don't mind watching while getting a wallpaper or ringtone, but they will just pop up periodically and they are repetitive. If I didn't download a game the first time I saw an ad, sure not going to buy it the tenth time I saw it. Just annoying! Too bad, this site has good content, but trying to get one wallpaper will take you a half hour or more.

I've been using Zedge for what feels like a decade at this point. it's been my main source of ringtones, text tones, wallpapers, and alarms. I've been using it a lot more recently as well. The Live Wallpapers has been a great feature. My only negative is the "rap to play/pause" the wallpaper. It's not very appealing. I'm sure many users would prefer if the video wallpapers played nonstop.

I've been using Zedge for several years across multiple devices. When I would get a new phone, I knew I could log into my account and get all my ringtones back. The app used to work great and I could search for ringtones without issue. Now I only get a connection error that says to try again later. It's been several days but I still can't search for anything.

AI galore. It's awful. I gave up on a wallpaper because it's practically all AI. The ads are pretty bad, and if you click on something and go back but get an ad first, it brings you to the top of the page. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because it is useful for adding your own ringtones and applying them to your phone. Although I could probably find a better app, I just used to use Zedge when it was new. And good.
