Has got much better with updates in last year. Now dont get interrupted on a zoiper call if i receive a mobile call or vice versa. Sometimes , once a week, zoiper will carry on ringing even someone else has answered call in our office. Only way to stop is reboot phone.
Suggest don't buy this app, am using a Samsung S20 Ultra and it didn't register after a while. Customer service keeps saying the issue is not at their end. However when I install Zoiper IAX/SIP i manage to register to make and receive calls. Is frustrated when they aren't trying to solve the problem but push it to service provider.
I use a new Samsung S22 Ultra with a high memory card and the app freezes all the time, calls can't be answered, sometimes nothing can be heard, one calls rings to another makes it impossible to cancel either, registering works but often has issues too. This just the a nightmare for us as a paying business customer but we know of nothing better to use instead. Tried different phone, 20 different settings, 3x reinstalled the app still no luck. Using either WiFi or data, doesn't matter.
great interface and reliable. main gripe i have is when i have the phone set to dial out with a different cid it only shows that number in my call history instead of the number i called.... makes it diffucult to look through my call history quickly. but ive tried some other apps and this one seems to be the winner overall
kicked out of registration months after purchasing it, support takes its time and useless. Didn't change anything about my phone, all of sudden demoted to unregistered user when purchased license only months ago. tried their troubleshooting steps to no avail. support took a week before returning my email with "try our troubleshooting steps."
I did contact support yesterday (2024-01-14) but no response by email so far. Only the response to contact them (which I already did) by email. I'd much preferred a response to my email... Zoiper keeps crashing since a few weeks (on the same phone as for the past two years). It automatically sends crash reports (to whom? How do I stop it?). And how can the constant crashing be stopped? I'll give you the 5* back when the issue is fixed. This issue is - 10 days later! - still unresolved.
The app works fine and does what they it does. The problem is that it also does something they don't say it does without digging a bit. By default, the "push" service will copy your username and password and register to your VoIP provider from Zoiper servers and proxy all of your SIP traffic. This is VERY shady as it allows them to not only log every detail about your calls and your location but it also lets them make/receive your calls without your interaction or notice.
Had to update my previous rating. Really warning you for buying this program. It was perfect earlier but now became really bad, disconnecting all the time, constantly telling you to buy a monthly subscription, means constantly pay for your purchased software. Strongly assuming it's done by purpose to get more money. Very poorly really.
Overall the app works well but it requires a degree in Voip technology to get it set up. My biggest disappoint was paying $12 to upgrade to the pro package to get better voice quality and battery usage only to find out that there was yet another in App purchase for the option to truly get decent battery optimization. Very expensive app and misleading marketing.
It's alright. We've just moved over to zoiper on our laptops so to thought I'd give the phone app a try. It's stable enough and does the business, but nothing special compared to other apps. Really useful features would be being able to customise the favourites page, maybe including presence info. Being able to change the present flag easily would be nice too. Bit annoying that if you enable video for one call, it defaults to video for future calls too.
I have paid for the pro version of Zoiper and also have the monthly subscription for the push service. Any incoming calls I received only last for 32 seconds, then drop out on wifi and cell data. I have made sure all Zoiper and phone settings are what's recommended by them. It's frustrating when attempting to receive important information in business related calls. The idea of what Zoiper says this app offers is great, however I am yet to be fully impressed with it.
1. Push notifications have never really worked on the Android application, other products work without issue 2. Call integration not updated to offer newer options like redirecting outgoing calls via the application (and support's response doesn't seemt to want to look into it ) 3. Asking for short registration time error message to be disabled on the client as they interrupt the users experience was met with, this-is-a-you problem. There seems to be disinterest in modernizing this product.
App frequently gets stuck trying to connect to SIP servers until the app is restarted. This makes the app useless since I don't generally prearrange phone calls. Tech support will only send you links to the less-than-helpful FAQ (e.g. if there were a typo in the SIP server settings then it wouldn't be fixed by restarting the app now would it?). It's been years and the app has never worked right so I don't have any hope that these bugs will ever be fixed.
We used Premium with Push for 8 months. It worked well generally, but then it would just stop being able to register (error 408, then 60). This happened randomly every couple months. Usually this would fix itself (somehow) after 2, but no more than 3 days. Eventually, after not having a working phone for several days, we gave up and installed something else. Zoiper told me to install a newer version, but none available.

When making phone call, the calling request gets timeout every single time. Switching to the free version, same time, same network, same device, the call gets through without any problem. Better stay with the free version. Can I request a refund?

Continues to works as expected. Good softphone. Update - I have used this app for the past 8 years. It works reliably. I have the pro version so I can have multiple phone numbers connected through it. It is my connection to my personal and business phone numbers. I like that all my VPN numbers send and receive text messages. When I am traveling, I connect through the hotspot on my cell phone and make and receive calls consistently. Recommend Zoiper.
Nothing but problems with this app. I have the premium version running in my S22 Ultra. It freezes up all of the time. It keeps ringing on my cell phone after a phone call has already been answered. Customers can not hear me speaking or there is a long delay before we can hear each other. A few times per week I have to force stop the app and restart it .
