Description
Been using Zolor – Your Color Buddy for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you easily grab color info from photos, whether you took them yourself or just have saved on your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into graphic design, art, or just like playing around with color palettes.
Here’s what you do: you can take a new pic with the app and it’ll instantly give you the HEX, RGB, and HSL codes for any color in the image. There’s also a library of trending color palettes you can browse, and you can save your own favorite colors. Took me a while to figure out how to export the color data, but once I did it’s really useful.
Look, if you work with color a lot, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a great job and makes color picking way easier. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Zolor – Your Color Buddy. I've tested a bunch of color apps and this one's up there with the best. The color extraction works really well, and I like how you can save palettes and export the values. It's not groundbreaking, but it's a solid, reliable tool. My only gripe is the ads can get a little obtrusive, but paying a few bucks to remove them is worth it in my opinion.
