Description
Been using Zoom for Chromebook for a couple months now. It’s basically a video chat and collaboration app made specifically for Chromebooks. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can schedule or join meetings with a tap, chat with co-workers, and even use a virtual whiteboard to brainstorm. There’s also automated meeting summaries which is a cool feature. And you can even make phone calls right from the app – though you’ll need a paid subscription for that.
Look, if you use a Chromebook for work or school, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a video chat app that plays nice with ChromeOS.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Zoom for Chromebook. I've tested a bunch of video chat apps and this one's pretty good for Chromebook users. And the features are solid and it's easy to use. But it's not the most polished experience - the UI feels a bit outdated and there's a learning curve to some of the advanced stuff. Still, it gets the job done and is a great free option if you're rocking a Chromebook.
