So far, so good. Edit after using for 2 months: Works really well and cant complain. Hope they find a source of revenue but dont look forward to when the subscription and poor free service starts. Reminds me of Skype, back before they got full of themselves. I suppose you cant leave well enough alone? Thanks for the use I've gotten, to date! Good Job! Edit after 1 year: Great App and a bargain. Hope the prices don't increase too fast. Again, Thank You. After 3 years, all is great. Very useful.

I missed a large chunk of a meeting that was very important to me. The app didn't work well on my phone, which is where I started the call. There was no audio and no menu or troubleshooting to fix it. Because the hosts also had trouble letting people in, etc, I thought my technical issues were related to theirs, but apparently not. I wasted too much time before coming back in and switching to my computer, where it finally worked.

Good app to use whether its school, work, or just talking to your friends. But the green screen doesnt work. I could get into a place with a clear background but it would only put the picture on my hair and eyes. Maybe you can talk to ByteDance (maker of tiktok) and ask them how they did their green screen and update the greenscreen. Overall, good app!

Okay except it doesn't include a basic function - listening to the audio of a call via bluetooth headphones/earbuds etc. Apparently your headphones MUST have a mic on them in order to work on the mobile app. For whatever reason they haven't figured out something a regular phone call can do. Useless if you want to maintain privacy and be quiet in a busy area. Due to this, the mobile app is useless to me.

Bluetooth works about 5% of the time, and randomly/rarel connects to Bluetooth devices for audio output with no telling what causes success. Dial-in brings up a list of numbers, and clicking them to initiate the call does not work. There is also no option for 'call me' as I've seen on the iOS app. I use the app to take calls when on the road, and fiddling with it while driving is extremely dangerous, and I often opt to just leave the call as the audio settings simply do not work.

Too difficult for 1st time users or those for whom its been a long time since they've used it. It should be super easy & its not! I'm a fairly tech savvy person & I see no reason it shouldn't be 1 or 2 clicks to get to your meeting once you've created an account. I should be able to click on the link I receive & be there. In other words create a "keep me logged in" option. At the very most click link & enter password. This is especially important when needing to join a live meeting at the start!

Overall, I like the app. Easy to navigate and good presentation. The only issues I have are: 1) When streaming, the wifi cuts out, but the stream will keep going, but the other apps on my phone will lose track of the wifi. 2) Been getting a glitch where if the room is closed, my phone still registers as in the room and won't let me exit, but also won't let me into the room so I've been forced 8 times on 2 different phones, to regardless of wifi or on data, to uninstall and reinstall.

Zoom mostly works well, except that audio input selection is unreliable across all platforms. On my phone, the app will frequently lose the ability to access Bluetooth, despite having the proper Android permissions, so I have to uninstall and reinstall frequently to reset the permissions. On Windows, the input volume will frequently be set to zero, or Zoom may choose an arbitrary input device. Otherwise, the app is quite robust.

The only reason I have ever even downloaded this app was out of necessity. For example, it was necessary to join a court proceeding via Zoom or else they issue bench warrants! Extremely rude🤣 Same as our schools. You join via Zoom or else no grade or attendance! They don't even let you vote or have a say in the app you use. Now if the app was reliable it would be just fine, but it's far from it. I am an Android user and not sure if that's better or worse. Connectivity, sound & audio suck! The

Zoom usually works well for me, but when I switched over to my phone, the camera simply refused to work (my camera is not busted). I have allowed permissions, troubleshooted using their support site, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice. I even made sure my phone's software was updated. Nothing, the camera is still greyed out no matter what I do. Maybe they'll find a fix. Until then, I'll be lugging around my laptop.

When using Zoom on my cell phone: Zoom is pretty good, but I do prefer the old way to scroll across the pages to see who's in the meeting. The way it is now, with it scrolling up and down is annoying. The bottom parts of the squarea are not visible, so you can't see the name. In addition, my Bluetooth disconnects again and again. I still am not able to connect back to it from the last time it disconnected. Those are the things that I've found most frustrating, otherwise it's good.

Zoom's mobile app is okay, but I miss the desktop when I am on my phone. What I miss most (besides being able to see everything at once) is that there are additional enhancements that you can use. There is a bete version of a feature that allows you to put on some digital eyebrows and lipstick -- a real time-saver, haha. That is honestky the reason why the mobile app is not getting more credit. That, and that it is hard to remember where everything is.

ZOOM, when it works it's great! The video is clear, I like the chat, and breakout rooms are easy to use. When it doesn't, it's a hot mess. This is especially true in the remote learning situation. The children sometimes can't connect into classes or audio/video are unstable. You really need to have strong internet or a separate device, rather than a hotspot.

Two years after the initial annoucement still doesn't support Android Auto. Latest versions have a very user-unfriendly experience with choosing audio devices "Bluetooth", "Headset", "Speaker" being the three options. I have more than one bluetooth device that is connected most of the time to my phone but can't choose which one would be the one that Zoom uses.

It's impossible to connect bluetooth as a speaker and mic. If you try to find settings for the audio, you'll be disappointed. When you click on general settings, there will be one option for ringtones. No options mid-call either. There are better options than this app. If you don't care about that, then I didn't have trouble connecting to the call or hearing the other members as long as it was through the phone speaker.

Worst work phone app ever used. It feels like the features are from about 15 years ago, and none of them actually work the way they should. It is the opposite of user friendly. Today the section where I see/hear my voicemails just disappeared. It never recognizes your contacts when someone texts/calls, and when you try to search, you can't just enter part of a number/word, you have to enter the entire thing, and it has to be in the exact format that it is saved (+1xxx...). It sucks!

I had audio connected through Bluetooth ahead of time so I would be able to hear before the event. As soon as the meeting started everything played through the phone--not just speaker, but through the tiny earpiece! I had to hold the thing up to my ear with the volume all the way up, barely able to hear anything during the meeting. for an app with live interactions like this you would think that would be one of the most easily accessible buttons, but it didn't appear to be anywhere :(

8/21/25- is this ever going to be fixed? Can't believe Teams is the better option. Haven't had a problem with that. PREVIOUS: Bluetooth not working anymore in the car. I now need to connect to speaker even though I have Bluetooth selected. Then when I end the zoom, the car will not disconnect the phone and locks up the phone screen. Only way to fix this if I restart the phone. Happening for a few months. Please read the other reviews mentioning these similar issues!

if not for zoom, I don't know how I would see my daughter who is 2500 miles away. thank you zoom. I didn't give the 5th star because others that join my meetings sometimes have difficulty getting in with the shared links. not sure what the issue is there. only other issue I have is that the pay window could be a lot more user friendly and easier to navigate to. once I found it, I can't seem to pay my monthly manually. there is no button for that. maybe need a short cut button for that?

First, the version of Zoom that I had kept kicking me out, especially when going to breakout rooms, which is horrible for interviews by the way. I tried updating and no difference. it was suggested that I reinstall so I did that. Not only do I have to re-enter the ID of reoccurring meetings that I want to join, but now Zoom won't play through my Bluetooth which makes my meetings even more difficult. I can't have a face to face with the phone held up to my head. 5 stars for quick fixes!
