This post is about the camera not the app. In less than a year that I have used this camera, I have gone through two large rather expensive SD cards. The camera somehow ruins the SD cards and makes them inactive. I cannot afford to keep buying memory cards. The card is not recognized in my computer either. It is obvious that the camera is at fault. The camera does not work at all now as It keeps turning as though it is constantly rebooting. I will be searching for a different brand camera

If I select a video from 9:00 a.m. it plays a video from 6 hours earlier at 3:00 a.m.? It also constantly says that my SD card is not inserted?? How many times can I take it out and put it in to get that error message.
I wish this app was more accurate and quicker to notify you of movement, several times it has missed me going to my car in the driveway and leaving. I have 4 cameras and when I go into the app, it's disappointing that the previews of each camera are not showing the current view, they show the last alert that I viewed. I really would enjoy these cameras more if it showed a live view in the camera tiles once I opened the app.
Not very clear instructions. I don't always get access to edit settings. I have to wait until the edit icon decides to appear in the upper right hand corner. And the only way to get it, is to be watching an historical video. I want the camera to run 24 hours. Instead it makes me choose a time plan for motion notifications. Why can't there be a 24 hour setting? 😫 Not having access to more than Basic Settings whenever I want to tweak the Time Plan is so frustrating!!
This app is awesome. The cameras are awesome. The app. notifies me if there is any motion within my targeted area. Tells me battery levels on each camera. And it notifies me of upgrades. We use 5 of these and they worth every penny. Sound. Nightvision. You can turn the light on. And or set for light to automatically come on. Very simple to set up and use.
When I first got the camera, it recorded wildlife on my porch which is why I bought it. The app updated and it no longer records animals. I'd like to know if that is going to be fixed or if I'll just have to get a new camera. This is pretty much useless. UPDATE It's COMPLETELY useless now. Doesn't record Anything. If you want a good camera with an app that actually works, Get a Wyze v3. Amazon has them and they're 1000 times better than this piece of JUNK.
These worked great until you need them. Then the playback is either really quiet and broken up or the video is choppy. Also can't figure out a way for my wife to have access to the cloud from her phone. The app only tells her when an alarm has gone off and she can't look at it or pull up a live feed from her app. Could someone please help? It works ok on my phone but the instructions say she has to download her own app & sign up. Did that but all she gets are alerts. Update; it doesn't work!¡
Great camera, I've had my camera for almost 2years, and it works just fine. I can see a wide area range, very clear. It's easy to use, Easy to clean from outside weather debis etc. it has many features and if you have a SD memory card you don't need to pay for features/ service. I'd recommend. I gave 4 stars because the camera needs more hanging options. Great work!
These cameras are absolute garbage! They don't want to stay connected in the app, they don't even pick up movement all the time. People can come to my door and never be caught on camera, what good is a camera if it won't detect movement? One thing it will do is record the birds ALL morning long! So you are alerted every 2 minutes. Save your money and stay away!
Having some trouble figuring out how to set up. Could use easier manual. In the box was very basic and using my phone to test viewing angle I have to keep swapping back to see next details. It still doesn't seem to record events. No I have been trying to get it to simply record to its SD card but most of the time it doesn't even recognize movement.
Very impressed with both the camera and app. I have the Zum-F5 battery camera, which can go well over a month & half before it hits 20% and time for a charge. Have had it last much longer, just depends on amount of motion detections and recording time you set in the app. Love the strong magnetic base too, which allows for easy mounting in some situations. Just pop an SD card in, and your good to go, no subscription needed.
Simple app to use, for those who are not in terms, tech savvy. Straight forward features, and minimalistic layout are a wonderland for myself and what I assume,, others as well...however I do wish that the app would have a few more features (but at the price point of the purchased product, I'll refrain from negative feedback). The overall score of 4 really is the simplicity of use and control.
It's turning out to be a terrible app. It logs me out as I'm actively looking at it. Says "session expired" And then keeps logging me out with the same message immediately after I log back in. I've looked for updates. Un-installed and reinstalled it, and it hasn't fixed the issue. What's the point of a camera system if the app to see what's going on keeps logging me out?
I have suggested this doorbell camera to several people! It (I assume) is absolutely comparable to a Ring, as it provides any function that I would assume is necessary of a doorbell camera! The camera itself is clear and weather reliable! The anti-theft alarm is attention getting, not to be ignored and the app offers viewing and playback options for any security issues or validation you may need! As far as I know, I've had this for a little over 1 year and I've only missed one anticipated alert
For some reason your app won't install on my PC. I'm I doing something wrong? Also, It appears to only be able to open on one device at a time. Is it because of the version? Clearer details on how and what all this camera will do would have been nice. especially before I bought it. For the pre-mentioned functions what's needed, please? An Upgrade?, a subscription? I do like the camera. Just saying that, unless I missed it, your post could have been more detailed.
This app and camera were working great. However, after a few months, video only captures still photos, at times, rather than the live video. Unable to zoom in on recorded video (disappointing). Download and/or save options are not always available options. It is an intermittent available option. Motion detection is set on performance mode and all humanoid areas selected. Yet, it seems that motion detection is not happening consistently. This means quite a lot of activity is not being captured.
The app seems to keep disconnecting the video on my mubview doorbell. Wifi says 100 percent. This is on android 11. Overall is simple to use but not sure why it keeps disconnecting. You also can't fast forward the video on landscape. I also can't see the live cam when I'm away or any images. I just bought the camera. I do have an SD card in it as well but it's still the same. Today it totally missed a delivery. Didn't record anything.
The first few months it worked fine, but over time it would stop loading pictures and videos that were captured from motion. The deal break was when it completely stopped working while I was on vacation. Not happy at all, I checked my international was still working and did all the things to "reboot" and no luck. I wanted to avoid corded cameras but obviously that is a more reliable route.
Camera comes on late to all events, and doesn't recognize alot of actions. If they could leave it recording continuously it would be great! But it only records late to all alarms, then only for 30 seconds max. I pray for updates, clarity and functionality are really good! ! Just recording issues hold this back from being great! Software is terrible, don't waste your money ! Customer support is great, but they can't fix the Software!
App. won't stay connected and when I try, I get error messages "Connection lost" or "Slow network, reconnecting". I could be directly under the camera, less than 10 feet away from the modem and still have issues. I also don't receive alert messages either and yes everything is set correctly. If I knew the app. was this bad, I never would have purchased the cameras, I'm thinking about sending the cameras back just because of this app.
