Been using Best Before – Food Tracker for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you keep track of the food you’ve got in your fridge and when it’s gonna go bad. Pretty solid if you’re always forgetting about that yogurt or milk that’s sitting in the back.
Here’s what you do: you can scan barcodes or manually add items, and the app will tell you when they’re gonna expire. And there’s also a shared grocery list feature, which is pretty cool. And the app can even give you recipes based on what’s about to go bad – took me a while to figure that one out but it’s actually really useful.
Look, if you’re always trying to cut down on food waste, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Best Before - Food Tracker. I've tested a bunch of food/grocery apps and this one's a pretty solid option. The expiration tracking is super handy and the grocery list feature works well for syncing with family. And the UI could use some polishing, but it gets the job done. Definitely better than just relying on those tiny expiration dates on the packaging. If you're forgetful like me, this is a great way to stay on top of what's in your fridge.
