Downloaded this game from an ad on another game. It specifically said this game had no forced ads. Which is true....until you get through the first 20 or so levels, and then it forces you to watch and ad after every level. Should've known they were lying, but it's disappointing because I liked this game. Oh well, onto the next.
Love the game ,but EVERY TIME, I select to watch an ad for a bonus in the game.... while in the middle of the game.... it never grants it and starts the game over. I watch the ad in full until the "x" or the little 》 button appears and every single time, I get brought to the main menu and can not complete the existing game.
The game has just the right level of challenge to make it enjoyable. I can deal with the ads we have to watch in exchange for tools, etc. What I don't like are the random redirects to what seem to be malware or other sites that look like they're running a virus check or some type of scan. As much as I enjoy the game, I don't like THAT. If you ever get rid of those, I'll come back.
The thing I like best about this app is that most of the ads don't hijack your audio while they play. Least liked is that even though I've purchased ad-free once you get to higher levels it's impossible to win a game without watching multiple ads. I will probably uninstall. I would not have purchased if I'd known it was just a glorified ad server.
The game itself is fun if you don't mind waiting 60 seconds for an ad which leads into a fast forward into an (x) in a circle into another moment of your life wasted. and he adds fight you on whether or not they will allow you to continue. and you get one after every game and after every achievement and after just about everything. if I wasn't retired with nothing to do at age 72 I would trash the damn thing. I'm at level 529 and it's become even more stupid. It's impossible to complete a puzzle
Game is fun but Im warning against the purchase of ad free gameplay which is a fairly recent thing for this game. IT'S NOT AD FREE. You just dont have ads that happen after the levels. You still have to watch the ads to spin the wheel more than once... Personally, its not worth 10 bucks. Yes, you get a few things and some gold, but not worth it when you can just close the game and re-open it. Save your money and use it on a developer that isnt trying to weasel money from its user base.
Only have 2 colors slot, without ads to get more slots, makes the game too difficult. Getting stuck on the same level over and over just because the color you need is buried and there aren't enough spare slots to dig out the one you need. If the ads were actually 30 seconds, sure. But no, there's multiple layers to a single ad and it force opens your browser or play store. Taking 2+ minutes each The further in I got, the more ads I received. I even started getting them in the middle of puzzles.
From their ad in a different game I play: "Works offline" - Nope "No annoying ads" - Banner ad at the bottom of the screen, plus an ad after every level. Also, watch ads if you want a power up. "100% free" - Have to spend money for power ups, boosters, etc. "Free" means no charge at all. "Download now" - Did that. This game was fun, and I would have kept playing it if any two of the above selling points were actually true.
Advertised w/o ads, but after lv15 (or there abouts) there's one after every level that I can't skip for some rainbow colored maguffin I don't care about. Merge Dragon ad for what felt like 5 minutes afterward as well, no thanks. Solid puzzle game, though. It would be 5 stars if they would have kept the no ad bit they had on the advertisement. I'm not paying for that after a bait and switch. Edit: Going down another star because you have to watch an ad to reset the stage now. That's new.
I am at level 367. I moved this game to my maybe once a month folder. The game makers need to do a better job as the game looses it's appeal as a puzzle game. I play puzzle games several times to win levels. However, recently, need to watch an ad to unlock another space, and another ad to unlock the fourth space, and another ad to free up the slots and another to free up the slots again. There is no more challenge. Anyone can solve these levels watching four ads to free up spots.
