So here's my honest take on 80 Days. I've tested a bunch of story-driven strategy games and this one's up there with the best of them. The level of detail and branching paths is really impressive, and I love how your choices actually impact the story and outcome. Doesn't hold your hand too much either, which I appreciate. On the downside, the late game grind can get a bit tedious, and the ads can be annoying if you don't pay. But if you're looking for an addictive, well-crafted adventure game, 80 Days is definitely worth your time.

Description

Been playing 80 Days for a couple months now. It’s basically a choose-your-own-adventure game where you race around the world in 1872 with a steampunk twist. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you take on the role of Phileas Fogg’s valet and have to manage his health, finances, and transportation as you travel by airship, train, and more. There’s also a bunch of branching storylines and choices that affect how your journey goes. Took me a while to figure out all the mechanics but it’s pretty fun once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re into strategy games or story-driven adventures, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
