So here's my honest take on ABC Kids - Tracing & Phonics. I've tested a bunch of educational apps for young kids and this one's pretty solid. The tracing games are simple but addictive, and the phonics stuff helps reinforce letter sounds. And doesn't try to do too much, just focuses on the basics. Only real downside is the ads, but you can pay to remove them. Overall, it's a great free option if you want an easy way to get your toddler or preschooler learning the alphabet.

Description

Been using ABC Kids – Tracing & Phonics for a couple months now. It’s basically a free app that helps toddlers and preschoolers learn the alphabet, practice letter tracing, and pick up some phonics. Pretty solid app if you’re into educational games for young kids.

Here’s what you do: there’s a bunch of tracing games where you follow the arrows with your finger to learn letter shapes. And it’s got some matching exercises too, where you pair letters with their sounds. Took me a while to figure out all the different activities, but they’re all pretty fun and engaging for little kids.

Look, if you’ve got a toddler or preschooler who needs some help with the alphabet and early reading skills, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – there are ads that can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
