So here's my honest take on Amerta. I've tested a bunch of typing and arcade games, and this one's a pretty solid entry. And the core gameplay loop is addictive and the visuals are polished. Doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it's a fun, casual time-waster. The main downside is that it can get repetitive after a while, but if you play in short bursts it's still an enjoyable experience.

Description

Been playing Amerta for a couple months now. It’s basically a fast-paced typing game where you shoot zombies in a night forest. Pretty solid app if you’re into these kinds of casual arcade games.

Here’s what you do: you use your keyboard like a weapon, typing out words to shoot at the zombies before they get you. And there’s also different levels and power-ups to mix things up. And the leaderboards let you compete against friends – took me a while to climb up the rankings but it’s fun.

Look, if you like games that are easy to pick up but hard to master, you’ll probably dig Amerta. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you wanna improve your typing skills while blasting some undead.
