Been playing Baba Is You for a couple months now. It’s basically a unique puzzle game where you can actually manipulate the rules of each level. Sounds crazy, but the way it works is that the rules themselves are present on the screen as little blocks you can push around. So with some simple block-pushing, you can turn yourself into a rock, make the goal something totally different, or even set patches of grass on fire. It’s a super clever concept that really gets your brain working.
There’s tons of levels to solve and each one has a different set of rules you have to figure out. Some are pretty straightforward, others are real head-scratchers. It’s got a chill, minimalist vibe too which I dig. The gameplay is satisfying and the difficulty ramps up nicely without ever feeling impossible.
Look, if you’re into unique, mind-bending puzzle games, you’ll probably love Baba Is You. It’s not perfect – the tutorial could be better and I wish there were more level themes – but overall it’s a really clever, addictive game that’s worth checking out.
