I’ve been playing Birdy Rise for a couple months now. It’s basically a cute little game where you help a bouncing bird navigate through platforms and obstacles. The bird just automatically bounces up and down, so your job is to tap the left or right side of the screen to make it jump to the next platform. Gotta be careful though – if the bird falls straight down, it’s game over and you have to start from the beginning.
There’s a bunch of levels to play through, and you can collect red hearts to boost your score. The more hearts you grab, the higher you can climb on the leaderboards. Oh, and you can unlock new bird characters too as you progress, which is a nice little incentive to keep playing.
Look, if you’re into casual arcade-style games, you’ll probably get a kick out of Birdy Rise. It’s not the most complex game ever, but it’s simple, addictive, and easy to pick up and play for a few minutes. Not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a solid time-waster that I’ve been enjoying.
