Description
Been playing BLeBRiTY for a couple months now. It’s basically a charades-style game where you have to act out all sorts of pop culture, history, and current events topics. Basically, it’s a party game for you and your friends to get together and have some laughs. There’s over 25 themed decks covering everything from ’80s babies to famous HBCU’s. You can team up and try to guess what your friend is acting out, or just go head-to-head. It’s got a good mix of easy and challenging prompts, so it works for all kinds of groups.
The best part is it’s made by and for the culture, so a lot of the references are super specific to the Black experience. But don’t worry, it’s still fun for everyone. My cousins were visiting last month and we played it for hours – had some good debates about who would know certain celebrities and phrases.
Overall, BLeBRiTY is a pretty solid party game. It’s not perfect – the prompts can get a little repetitive after a while and the app has some annoying ads. But if you’re looking for a fun way to get the fam together and test your pop culture knowledge, I’d recommend giving it a try.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on BLeBRiTY. I've tested a lot of party games and this one's a pretty solid addition to the genre. The variety of categories and prompts is great, and it's cool that they're specifically tailored for a Black audience. And the charades-style gameplay is simple but engaging, and it's the kind of thing that can get pretty hilarious with the right group. The downsides are that it can get repetitive over time, and the ads are a bit intrusive if you don't pay. But overall, I'd say it's worth checking out if you're into party games and want something that celebrates Black culture.
