Description
I’ve been playing Castlevania: SotN for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic action RPG from the Castlevania series, but now you can play it on your phone. Pretty solid game if you’re into old-school platformers and hack-and-slash stuff.
Here’s what you do: you play as Alucard, slashing your way through Dracula’s huge castle and fighting all sorts of enemies. There’s also a ton of loot to find and abilities to unlock – takes some strategy but it’s not rocket science. And the graphics and music are straight outta the original game, which is a nice touch.
Look, if you’re a Castlevania fan or just like challenging action games, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the controls can be a little finicky and the progress at higher levels gets pretty grindy – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Castlevania: SotN. I've tested a bunch of classic game ports on mobile and this one's actually pretty solid. The gameplay is just as fun and challenging as I remember from the original, with tons of strategic depth in how you upgrade your abilities and tackle the different enemies and bosses. And I gotta say, the graphics and soundtrack have held up amazingly well. Not gonna lie though, the controls can be a little clunky at times and it does get a bit repetitive after you've been playing for a while. But overall, if you're a Castlevania fan or just want a hardcore action game on your phone, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try.
