I've tested a bunch of fantasy RPGs on my phone and Caves of Lore is up there with the best of them. The combat is super satisfying, with lots of tactical depth, and the pixel art style is really well done. I also like how much customization there is with the party members and gear. The only downside is that it can get a little repetitive after a while, but that's true of a lot of RPGs. Overall, I'd highly recommend this if you're a fan of the genre.

Description

Been playing Caves of Lore for a couple months now. It’s basically a turn-based, pixel-art fantasy RPG where you build up a party of adventurers and explore dungeons, battle monsters, and interact with NPCs. Pretty solid game if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you start by creating a party of up to 6 characters, each with their own classes, spells, and abilities. There’s also a ton of gear and enchantments to find and equip. And the combat is grid-based and tactical – you gotta think about positioning, abilities, and enemy weaknesses. It’s got some nice depth without being too complicated.

Look, if you’re into old-school RPGs with a modern twist, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrade system can get a bit grindy at higher levels – but overall it’s a really solid and polished experience. Worth checking out for sure.
