Description
Been using Chess for a couple months now. It’s basically a chess game where you can play against the AI or other players online. Pretty solid app if you’re into strategy games.
Here’s what you do: there’s a bunch of play modes like classic chess, puzzle, and even a chess tutor that’s actually pretty helpful. It’s got this cool feature that shows you where your moves are unsafe – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful. And the app even tells you the opening line you’re playing, which is kind of neat.
Look, if you’re into chess, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Chess. I've tested a bunch of chess apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The chess tutor is really helpful for learning new strategies, and the ability to see unsafe moves is a game-changer. The graphics look great too. The only downsides are that the free version has some annoying ads, and progression can get a bit grindy at higher levels. But for a free chess app, I'd say it's one of the better ones out there.
