So here's my honest take on Chess - Offline Board Game. I've tested a bunch of chess apps and this one's pretty solid. The gameplay is smooth and there's a ton of strategic depth without being overwhelming. I also like that you can play against the computer or friends, and the graphics look great even on older phones. The free-to-play model is fair too - you don't have to spend money to enjoy the full experience. The main downside is that the upgrades take forever at higher levels, and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall, if you're a chess fan, this is definitely worth checking out.

Description

Been playing Chess – Offline Board Game for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic chess app where you can play against the computer or your friends. Pretty solid if you’re into strategy games like this.

Here’s what you do: you can choose your opponent level, from beginner all the way up to grandmaster. There’s also a 2-player mode so you can challenge your friends. And the graphics are pretty nice – you can play in 2D or 3D. Took me a while to figure out some of the advanced features but it’s all pretty user-friendly.

Look, if you’re a chess fan, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of giving you a classic chess experience. Worth checking out if you’re bored and want to sharpen your strategy skills.

I've been playing chess for decades. So I'm not new. Just thought I'd pick this game up to pass the time. First two levels are laughably easy. Its levels 3...
