Description
Been playing Chess Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically a super in-depth chess game where you can take on the AI or challenge friends. Pretty solid app if you’re into strategy games.
Here’s what you do: you can set up matches, play through tutorials, and even join online chess clubs to team up and take on other players. There’s also a smiley face that lets you know who’s winning, which is a pretty cool little feature. And the app has a bunch of different game modes – I found the daily puzzles to be a nice way to quickly get a chess fix.
Look, if you’re a big chess fan, you’ll probably get a lot out of this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be a little annoying if you don’t pay to remove them – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to level up your chess game.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Chess Pro. I've tested a bunch of chess apps and this one's up there with the best. The AI is really sharp and will challenge even experienced players, but the tutorials are great for learning. The clan battles are also a lot of fun - I've been playing in a group with some friends and we get super competitive. The only downside is it can get a little repetitive after a while, but if you mix it up with the different game modes it stays pretty fresh.
