The last update was terrible. my coins keep getting set to $0 even though I haven't used them. also the option to watch an add when you run out of spaces is gone, so I'm stuck replaying the same level because I don't have enough money to clear some of the spaces on the board. Unlike almost every other game out there, you can't accumulate a few free coins daily.
Reviews for Color Slide – Hexa Puzzle
I can see the potential of this game, I really want to like it, but it is pay to win. the game claims to be random, but I don't think it is... there is a very clear pattern where I will easily beat 2 or 3 levels, and then the next two become impossible to beat unless I unlock more spaces by watching ads. The fundamental mechanics of this game are flawed and it's not a fair or fun way to make a game.
Fun, but littered with bugs. Ads will often break and you can't close out of them (forcing you to close and refresh the app). Randomly, I'll be forced out of the app and directed to a page saying my phone has been infected with viruses (another ad). If you try yo participate in the toxic waste challenge, you'll never receive your reward. Unrelated to the bugs, the coin rewards are horribly balanced (each level = 5 coins, but a new life is 75 coins). All that being said, the game play is nice.
I really liked this game at first, but now, when I click on it, it goes through the 100% load, but then it is nothing but a blue screen. The game won't come up. Have to exit out 2 to 3 times before it comes up. After each each game, you used to have an option to "X" out, but it no longer works. Now you either have to buy or watch a 30 to 60 second ad to be able to continue. It's not worth the frustration. Did uninstall, reinstall, cleared cache. Nothing worked. Deleting app.
Could be great but...it's ultimately a rip-off. It's a no-frills puzzle which is perfect for me. Initially, gameplay is fun yet challenging, gradually increasing in difficulty; then it suddenly becomes much too difficult to advance without resorting to premium (paid) "virtual items." I already paid $4.99 to avoid constant interruptions from ads. I think pressuring me to spend even more to get past an artificial gameplay obstacle is manipulative and greedy. Phooey!
In concept, it's good. But it's deliberately designed to force you to watch ads even if you pay for the no ad version. Then it glitches after you watch an ad and freezes, causing a restart with no reward from the prior watch. The other frustrating thing is there's really no rhyme or reason to which direction color stacks will go. So there's no way to strategize. I'm unistalling.
enjoy the game. HATE the repeated ad for dreame-read romance stories. I don't know if the game has any control over what ads play, but this particular ad is disgusting and despite clicking not interested in this ad every single time it continues to come up every single time. Thank you for your response. To be clear, I understand that ads fund the game. while I do not enjoy them, I expect them. The issue was the content of that particular ad.
New obstacles added Sep 13 make completing games excruciatingly long. Now have to use coins in EVERY game to clear spaces to not lose and break streak. Very few spaces in new games, yet added obstacles need full color stacks to trigger actions, to release another obstacle that takes multiple triggers to complete (bees and frogs)! And so many more ads. Excruciating is not an exaggeration. Uninstalling game despite a streak of nearly 1600 games, with over 6,100 coins to use. Do not download.
so close to being a great game, but for some reason it stopped giving me tiles?? I'm guessing this is a glitch because why did it run out, out of nonowhere?stuck at level 18 because I simply can't do anything since it's not giving me tiles to put down. did this happen to anyone else? is it a bug? it made me lose my win streak because I had no choice but to restart, I assumed it would fix the problem and give me tiles again, but it didn't! now I'm stuck waiting to see if it'll give me tiles again
Agree with many others here, I cannot figure out the algorithm for which direction (off of or onto the places stack) the tiles jump. Feels completely random, which destroys any concept of a "strategy game" or "brain teaser". Behaves more like a slot machine, particularly at higher levels.
