Description
Been using Complete Ear Trainer for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you develop your relative pitch and music theory knowledge. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: there’s a bunch of different drills and exercises to train your ears. You can work on intervals, chords, scales, you name it. It’s got a nice progression system too – starts easy and gets more challenging as you level up. Took me a while to figure out some of the features but they’re actually pretty useful.
Look, if you’re a musician trying to improve your aural skills, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – can get a bit repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Complete Ear Trainer. I've tested a bunch of music apps and this one's up there with the best. The training drills are really effective and it's amazing how much my ear has improved after using it consistently. The only downside is it can feel a bit grindy at higher levels, but if you stick with it, it's a game-changer for your musicianship.
