So here's my take on Cooking Mama: Let's Cook! - I've tested a bunch of cooking/sim games and this one's pretty solid overall. The mini-games are fun and the village building gives you something to work towards. It's not the most deep or complex game, but it's a great casual experience if you just want to chill and make some virtual food. And the graphics are nice and colorful too. My main gripe is that the upgrade/progression system can get a little repetitive and grindy at higher levels. But for a free-to-play game, it's pretty generous and you don't really need to spend money to enjoy it. Worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre.

Description

I’ve been playing Cooking Mama: Let’s Cook! for a couple months now. It’s basically a fun cooking game where you do all these mini-games to prepare dishes. You can also build up your own restaurant village and serve customers.

There’s a ton of different recipes to try out – over 30 different meals. The cooking mini-games are pretty entertaining. You gotta chop ingredients, mix stuff in a pot, bake in the oven, and more. It’s not super challenging but it’s satisfying to make the food look good.

Look, if you’re into cooking games or just casual sims in general, you’ll probably enjoy this. It’s not the most groundbreaking thing ever, but it’s a solid time waster that gets the job done. The village building is a nice addition too, though it can get a little grindy after a while.
