I like this game; it's cute and easy to play, though it's a bit nonsensical to get docked for not placing seasonings or ingredients in the bowl/pan in your random order we have no way of knowing without ridiculous trial and error. Also, while I am super glad to get new recipes and levels, I wish you would test them more before releasing them. Both this latest level and the previous release are so buggy that required elements will not trigger.

← Back to CookingdomNeeds option to shut off timer!! Either I didn't notice the timer at first or the first few levels didnt have one. But as soon as I realized id like it I paid for no ads. And then all the sudden I notice the timer. I would have never paid for it if I realized that. Why cant these games just understand we want to relax.
I did pay for the removal of ads which was, in my opinion, a little bit expensive. the ads were so frequent it genuinely frustrated me at times. as for controls, they can be iffy and differentiate from recipe to recipe. sometimes it won't mind if youre not as accurate and other times you have go get the item positioned in a very precise spot or else it won't work. I do like this game and is definitely one of my favorites in terms of passing time
Edit: 7/31/25 I rated the game a 5 because the mid-level ads have gone! Thank you!!! I wanted to rate this a 4 or 5 because I love playing the game. Even with a few bugs, they almost always get fixed with the frequent updates. However, I'm rating lower because after the latest update, there are now ads in the middle of the level. I didn't mind them after levels or closing to watch them for bonuses, but putting ads in the middle of levels is something that makes me want to uninstall the game.
Very fun game, but really picky with the order of operations on recipes and often doesn't give enough time, so you have to play over and over again. App is having a glitch after the last update, can't get past level 68 because it's giving me half the time it should. 3 stars due to bug and heavy ads to get more time/hints on levels. Please fix this issue.
well.. it never tells us what to do, no arrows or anything, you just usually have to do a guessing game. although that can be fun, it isn't. you sometimes have to retry a level around 5 times just to finish it because of how much it doesn't guide you through the game. it also bombards you with ads once you finish a level so they can get a quick buck. everything else is... ok. the art style is cute and the music is chill, but the gameplay is mid. it also has recurring bugs which are always there.
Fun, but they don't give you enough time to complete later levels without screwing up a few times, and they hide ingredients in the most obscure places so you waste time looking for them. It's only clear what to do next if you are either a professional chef or you use hints. Good game overall, but if you're looking for relaxing, find another game cuz this isn't it.
the game is so fun! I love it I really do just I hate how there is a time limit for not even 5 minutes! I feel like it should be at least 7 or 10 or no time limit at all. people don't know how to use stuff and there isn't much of a tutorial so your stuck there and then have to start all the way back to the beginning. overall super fun game! the time limit is just ruining the fun though.
It's a fun game in concept and playing at first, but the entire thing is the Boss of All Ads! You get an ad in the middle of playing, at the end of a finished recipe, and another one if you have to restart after losing a level. The game hardly has any progression to it (other than playing recipe after recipe) with no fun goal to work towards; hardly anything worth paying $5.99 for to just play the game regularly as intended without popup ads! STOP WITH THE GREED!
I love this game, it's very addictive and motives you to explore different recipes. I had to erase it, but when I downloaded it again, it started to get stuck on the ice cream rolls recipe, specifically the utensil for cutting the rolls. I've tried restarting my phone and redownloading the app three times now because of that. It always gets stuck in that area. I'm really sad that I can't keep playing because of that glitch.
The ad let me play a full level, always a plus in my book. In the game itself, they have prioritized turning heating elements on and off. A good safety practice in a game or in real life. The only thing I wish they would have is either a recipe book or a finalized picture that stays through the level. As it is you can lose simply by spending to much time guessing what goes first/next in the activity.
This is a really fun game, I even bought the ad free thing. However, on the washing dishes mini game, no matter how I do it, it never marks it as complete. I used the last of my coins to get 60 extra seconds, and I still couldn't find out what to do. I can't even watch ads for hints or for extra time because it says I don't have an active internet connection, which I most certainly do. Please fix this glitch as it is certainly frustrating.
Idea behind the game is cute, but it is almost impossible to get things done in the time limit given. Especially when some steps need you to stir for 5 seconds. One step you added one thing, stirred 5 seconds, added another thing, stirred 5 more seconds. It did that like 5 times in one section. So of course I need to watch an ad for more time. And the amount of ads needs to be reduced. Ad needed for 60 more secs, another ad in the middle of a level, another to restart the level. Too many!
It's a very cute and fun game, but it is ruined by the timer, long ads, and it's very glitchy. You barely get enough time for a level, and it feels more stressful than supposedly a relaxing game. I understand giving some sort of challenge, but you're just not given enough time. And buttons don't work, I've followed the steps exactly but it's not allowing me to click on anything.
I really enjoy playing this game..But it is driving me crazy. it seems it's 80% or more waiting for ads to play out and 20% or less of gameplay... I understand the ads have to be there.. but there is a such thing as going too far with them and this game is excellent example of that. if it changes maybe I will switch it to five star unless I get really tired of the ads and just uninstall the game all together. So Sorry!!!
I want to love these games but I just uninstalled without finishing because it is no longer fun. You have to guess your way through the puzzles, which would be fine if there wasnt a very small time limit to complete it. This should be a relaxing game but its not when i have tapped everything on the screen only to run out of time and have to watch an ad in order to keep guessing or get a hint to finish it. If i have to spend more time watching ads than playing, thats bad game design!
Was addictive at first, but the constant forced adds were too much. I uninstalled it because level 72 is busted right at the end. it lets you put everything in the bowl except the green onion, and even the hint doesn't help. Apparently, the level after is another busted one that everyone gets stuck on. It's not worth playing in the long run. It's too frustrating for its own good.
The game is nice and cute. It plays fine, aside from fact its has ads playing whenever you fails and it heats up my phone quickly. It suppose to be a relaxing game but I find it a bit stressing. No instuctions on certain things, unless you wanted hints (which of course you have to watch ads before getting one). And most of all Not Enough Time.
This game is fun&challenging. But the amount of hints on each level is ridiculous. 23 ads for the whole recipe is insane. Also, level 61 is impossible. I get to grilling the meat and I can complete 3 of the meats & the rest of them will not go on the grill no matter what I do and I've replayed the level hoping it would work countless times. And there's no way to skip the level. So if it doesn't get resolved soon, I'm just going to delete the app. There's no point in having it if I can't progress
Updated review: the game is fun but I agree with the other complaints. The timer is often not long enough for the amount of tasks required, it's impossible to figure out what you have to do next, or it's too picky about the placement on the screen of an item, like it shouldn't take me four tries to get a pitcher of water to pour into a pot because the pitcher isn't lined up just right. And some of the tasks are so hard it's not fun. Like the spring mochi you need ten minutes to finish that level
