Description
Been using Cotter AL Abacus for a couple months now. It’s basically an educational abacus app that’s designed to help you learn math visually. Pretty solid if you’re into that sort of thing.
Here’s what you do – there’s this abacus with beads that you can move around to visualize quantities and practice basic arithmetic. And there’s also a trading side that focuses on thousands, which is pretty cool. Took me a while to figure out all the features but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually pretty useful.
Look, if you’re a visual learner or you’re just looking for a fun way to practice math, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re into educational apps.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Cotter AL Abacus. I've tested a bunch of math apps and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The visual abacus is a really clever way to teach kids (and adults!) basic arithmetic without just drilling flashcards. It's not gonna replace a real teacher, but it's a pretty solid supplement. The only downside is that it can get a little repetitive after a while. But if you stick with it, it's a great way to build your math foundations.
