So here's my take on cozy cult. I've tested a bunch of these idle/incremental games and this one's actually pretty solid. The theme is super weird and tongue-in-cheek, which I dig. The gameplay loop of tapping to generate faith, unlocking apps, and ascending leaders is pretty addictive. And the clan battles add a fun social element. The visuals are clean and the performance is good, even on older phones. Not gonna lie though, the grind can get old after a while and the monetization is a bit aggressive. But if you're into this genre, I'd say cozy cult is worth checking out.

Description

Been playing cozy cult for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you start your own little cult, collect followers, and try to ascend your leader to become a god. Sounds pretty weird, I know, but it’s actually a pretty solid time.

Here’s what you do: You tap the screen to generate faith, which is like your main currency. And you can use that faith to recruit more followers, unlock special apps that automate parts of the process, and eventually ascend your leader when their era is up. Then the next leader takes over and you start over, but you get to keep some permanent upgrades. There’s also a clan system where you can team up with friends to take down other cults – that part’s pretty fun.

Look, if you’re into these idle/incremental games, you’ll probably get a kick out of cozy cult. It’s not perfect – the progression can get a little grindy at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a quirky, engaging experience that I’ve been enjoying in short bursts.
