Been playing Crossword Go! for a couple months now. It’s basically a turn-based word puzzle game where you compete against friends or random opponents. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: You get 5 random letters and 60 seconds to place them on the crossword grid. There’s clues in each cell to help you build the right words. You get points for placing letters, forming full words, and using all your tiles. There’s also Scandinavian-style puzzles that use pictures instead of words – that’s a nice change of pace.

Look, if you’re into brain teasers and word games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job and it’s worth checking out, especially if you have friends to play with.
