I’ve been playing Crossword Jam for a couple months now. It’s basically a word game where you connect letters to form hidden words. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: there’s a grid of letters and you swipe to connect them and make words. It’s got some nice scenic backgrounds to look at while you play, which is a cool touch. And there are different game modes – not just regular crosswords, but also anagram challenges and stuff. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s a pretty deep word puzzle game.
Look, if you’re a fan of brain teasers and word games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of being a relaxing yet challenging word game. Worth checking out if you need something to scratch that mental itch.

So here's my honest take on Crossword Jam. I've tested a bunch of word puzzle apps and this one's a pretty solid option. The graphics and music give it a nice calming vibe, which is a nice change of pace from some of the more intense strategy games out there. The variety of puzzle types keeps things from getting too repetitive, and the difficulty ramps up nicely so it's a good challenge. My only real gripe is the aggressive monetization with ads, but you can pay to remove them. Overall though, I'd say it's one of the better free-to-play word games I've tried.
