Description
Been playing Cytus II for a couple months now. It’s basically a rhythm game where you tap and swipe to the beat of some really cool electronic music. Pretty solid app if you’re into rhythm/music games.
Here’s what you do: there’s a story mode where you play through different levels and unlock new songs. You can also play levels in free play or challenge mode. It’s got a ton of songs across different genres, so there’s a lot of variety. And the visuals are really slick – took me a while to figure out how to customize the look but it’s pretty neat.
Look, if you’re into rhythm games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the progression can get a bit grindy at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out, especially since it’s free to play.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Cytus II. I've tested a bunch of rhythm games and this one's up there with the best. The music is super catchy, the gameplay is challenging but not frustrating, and the visuals are really polished. But it's not without its flaws - the difficulty ramps up quick and the upgrades take forever at higher levels. Still, if you're a fan of the genre, I'd say Cytus II is worth your time. Addictive stuff.
