I've tested a bunch of RPGs on my phone and Doom & Destiny Advanced is one of the better ones. The combat is satisfying, the story is genuinely funny, and there's just so much content to dig into. Sure, it has some of the typical free-to-play annoyances, but you don't have to spend money to enjoy the core experience. If you're looking for an addictive old school RPG to sink your teeth into, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Description

I’ve been playing Doom & Destiny Advanced for a couple months now. It’s basically an old school RPG where you get to play as a bunch of nerdy heroes trying to save the universe. Pretty fun stuff if you’re into that kind of game.

There’s a ton of stuff to do – you can pick from 20 different classes, equip gear, learn skills, and fight hundreds of enemies in turn-based battles. And the main story is over 30 hours long, but you can also explore 1000+ locations looking for hidden secrets. It’s got a really great sense of humor too, which I dig.

Look, if you’re a fan of classic RPGs, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever and the ads are kind of annoying if you don’t pay. But overall, it’s a pretty solid retro adventure that’ll keep you entertained for a while.

This game is a snarky tongue-in-check parody of the classic RPGs I grew up playing. At the same time, it has an interesting story, innovative combat system, and runs fabulous...

Years later I've come back to the games, first I replayed the original and it was still a 5/5 game. Then I replayed this one, bugs are gone but the...

I have to admit, I am addicted to this game. If you ever played the first Final Fantasy games, or Chronotrigger, well...this game took me back to my childhood turn-based...
