Been playing DOOM II for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic first-person shooter where you fight your way through hordes of demons in the depths of hell. Feels super nostalgic if you played the original DOOM back in the day, but it’s still plenty of fun even if you’re new to the series.
There’s a ton of different guns to use, from the trusty shotgun to the insane super shotgun. And the levels are pretty varied – you’ll be exploring spooky castles, industrial complexes, and all sorts of hellish landscapes. It’s got that old-school challenge where you really gotta watch your ammo and health.
Look, if you’re into retro FPS games, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not the most polished game ever, but it nails that classic DOOM feel. Definitely worth checking out, even if you’re not super into the genre.
