Reviews for Door Kickers

← Back to Door Kickers

If you want something that gives you semi realistic tactical strategy paired with rpg elements, then this is for you. 5 years later and I love this game even more. Playing with a stylus is even better! I remember when this was a pc only game still in development. I'm so happy you guys went mobile like we wanted! Keep it up! Now we need a Roman squad Combat version!

I love the game. Very strategic. Worth the money. However it doesn't explain a few things that can make things go differently then how you want. For example I picked a lock thinking I could silently get a few guys (which is an option if you sneak up on them) but it kicked down the door alerting the crooks. T hats really my only complaint tho. At the very least explain them on the website or something.

Basically a copy paste of the old PC game. Bought because of nostalgia, and it didn't disappoint. Using your finger instead of a mouse to move units around can be a little annoying at times, but otherwise a very good port. For those who aren't familiar with the game. It's a top down, "real time", tactical shooter. I put real time in quotes because you can pause and plan out movements. A good amount of content for the money. And I've bought it twice. Once here and once on steam.

Awesome game. Love the freedom of it. You can do the levels absolutely anyway you want. Long as you pass the objective then you move on. Different soldier classes and an upgrade store to mix things up and keep it fresh. Controls can be a bit hard drawing lines close to other soldiers, but nothing game breaking at all. And with the way the levels are, you can play for 5-10 minutes or you can sink a couple hours into it. Worth the money.

Transitioning a PC game to mobile isn't always the easiest task. After sinking about 20 hours into the game to this point I'd say it's as good as could be expected. Certain things are lost in the translation as controls need to be streamlined. But the only thing I will genuinely complain about is that sometimes after selecting an action at a door while paused in planning mode, once you press play, the action you chose disappears as if you didn't select anything at all. Other than that, 👍.

Superb game. Quite challenging as you progress, but I haven't yet found anything to be impossible or overwhelming. They definitely make you think hard though! My only suggestion for the developer is to add an option during planning to "lock" an officer's path, or be able to hide all but the one you're working on. I constantly try to adjust an officer's orientation/path and end up somehow grabbing a different officer's path and resetting it, which is very frustrating. I'm even using a stylus pen.

I've wanted to play this for a while, but with so many games not living up to the hype or getting repetitive quickly, I've never taken the chance. I finally grabbed it on sale and am absolutely loving it!! I've only done a few of the single missions so far, but it was well worth the money! Great job devs!! Hope you all release a sequel later!!

This game is so close to being the best game I've played on android. I just want a lock command and undo command on my SWAT team. The further you get on the game the longer the routes you have to create for your team which takes A LOT of time. I've rage quit/uninstalled a few times due to spending 20 - 30 minutes on a plan and when I zoom out a glitch causes one of my trails to reset/reroute. It would be extremely helpful if there was a lock/undo feature.

I love the idea of the game. It reminds me of an overhead stylized version of the '98 Sierra game Police Quest: SWAT 2. My biggest gripe has to do with the controls on my cell phone. As many others have commented, there have been times when I spend a good five minutes planning a takedown only to inadvertently press the wrong button losing all progress. Also, trying to select a waypoint for unit when it is near a door or even another unit's waypoint is all but impossible.

Great game. Like some of the other reviewers said, controlling the game on a cell phone can be a little clunky, but with a little practice and some patience it can be done. The control issues did not in anyway take away from the enjoyment I got from this game. The fact that it is a paid game and not a "free to play" with hundreds of ads and other nuisances is another plus. Overall a really fun game. If you are into modern combat tactics or similar topics this game is for you.

Its 100% worth the money. It really makes you think, perfect your strategies, and in the campaign your soldiers only have 1 life each so it also makes you care for your soldiers. Although some missions can be just run shoot die some survive repeat the best way is with a little cover, and brains. You can tell your soldiers exactly what to do, where to look, later on with stealth units shoot on command. It is also offline so it is a great game on the go. This game is worth every cent you pay.

Absolutely amazing, gory, bad guy killing, and fun time killer. Easy to play, hard to master, even harder to put down. No waiting for lives, or having to ask friends for help in order to continue to higher levels, all you do is play as long as you want. The added free in game download mods is cool too. Highly recommend this game, it's really worth the $4 bucks, and no in game microtransactions either

Good game but i've already finished the campaign and unlocked every item a long time ago it needs more maps. I noticed there's a few more maps in the random generator that aren't added to the campaign. I feel like this game would be even better with more equipment, weapons, classes, areas, etc. Can't wait for there to be more stuff. Still no new stuff?

Unparalleled Tactical Gameplay. On a phone. This game is some of the most fun I've had with a tactical shooter. Doing full on planned out military style room clearing from the comfort of my bed is exhilarating! $5 for the amount of content here is a ridiculous deal, and when my subscription to play pass is up, i'll be buying it. The controls do feel a little weird at times, especially without a stylus but you will adjust to it after a while

This is the game I've been searching for my whole life! Stumbled across it a week or so ago and cant stop playing! I love tactical strategy games, top down shooters, controlling the time, the skill tree and unlock system! This game checks every box for me. Hats off to KillHouse Games! Only thing I'd note is it took a little while to really get the controls down like synchronized actions and other mechanics. KillHouse, thank you! Keep up the great work! Would LOVE to see more games like this

There's virtually zero control over what direction your units face once you hit play, without total micro management. They will see an enemy, shoot once and then turn right back around and follow the dotted line you draw like they had their memory wiped. Don't waste the 5 bucks on the game.. Breach and clear was far better, but unfortunately it's not available anymore.

It is a good game, it's worth the money. It's fun and interesting, it's probably one of the greatest Guido person squad based strategy shooter, since it's one of the only ones out there. Am excited for door kickers 2 if it comes out on mobile. I'd like to suggest something. Please make it so the operator can keep looking at the way he's instructed to look at, like in the PC Ver. I have to constantly point an operator to look at the same direction so that the operator doesn't die.

Fun, innovative, and strategic. If you like games that make you think and plan this game will fulfill that want. I played the PC version and loved it. The crossover from PC to mobile is great! Controls can be clunky at times, but it's a mobile version of a PC game and I believe it is not something that hinders the gameplay, especially due to the fact it is a stop/go game. Worth the money. Highly recommend.

I want to like it so much. I've played it for so long. Here are 3 places where they went wrong. No undo/redo button, no fine-tuned movement(like an up down arrow to make a dot right next to the last command dot), and... Well that's all I got. But these two missing features make it so frustrating to make your units do what you actually want them to do. You can spend twenty minutes on a line and have it all destroyed by accidentally tapping and dragging early in the sequence when tryna move camera

Best game of this kind on mobile, although the controls don't work as well as they should. Generally it's the multi-layered levels that become the most problematic. That & even though you can change the path colors for different operatives, making the wrong touch somewhere can erase entire plans. Biggest problem though is this came out on mobile in late 2015. Why is the sequel not out on mobile yet? It's been out on PC for almost 5 years. Nothing should take 10 years to develop.
