Reviews for Dot Link - Connect the Dots

The game is good, but the finger tracking is atrocious. The cells are so small that you'll be missing squares - and destroying older paths - all the time, especially near the edge if you use a case. The author must use a stylus and never test with an actual finger. The automatic attempts to complete the current path also tend to go *bonkers* destroying older paths even more, with little hope of recovery. There are better options in this genre.

Your game is fun. However, and its a BIG HOWEVER, it's bad enough you have 30 second ads for a level that only takes 5 seconds to play! But you also have 55-56 second ads after some levels. Seriously, this is ridiculous!! No, I never buy games/apps. I have better things to do with my money, than to waste to money on an app I will get annoyed, frustrated or bored with! Plus the ads & the game freeze up at times. Very close to uninstalling!! Fix this, now or I am done!!

I've always loved this game; I started playing it on my old android, years ago. I've always had a knack for being able to complete the levels easily. However, the implementation of the "walls" between the dots (as well as the empty and blocked zones) definitely make the game more unique and a slight bit more challenging. Thank you for bringing this classic game back to life with a renewed vigor; I look forward to beating every level, no matter how challenging they may become. 😀

Fun until the ads hit. Banner ads I can deal with, but making me sit there every 3 levels watch a video, then an interactive demo, then the Play Store tab, and THEN ANOTHER x to press to finally close out of it... Come on! I hit skip ad the first time, then let me move on to the game! Really ruins the relaxing experience when I have to "skip ad" FOUR TIMES in order to finally move past it. Was a lot of fun until the frustrating ad experience, which would never encourage me to pay for a game.

I really like the game as it makes me use my brain. some puzzles are pretty easy but some make you think. I just don't like all the ads. two short ads after every puzzle. however I still like the challenge of the different combinations to the dot puzzles

it's honestly a really good game, good graphics, good puzzles, level progression is simple, plus I like that it tells you what level your at as in intermediate, pro, noob, and all, I also like that it's an offline game, so no ads, the only thing I don't like all that much is the background music, but that's just what I think, the music is relaxing, just not my thing, though I think anyone who chooses to play this game, will love it!

Tried again 🤨You didn't fix anything - Stupid ad's in the middle of a game?? REALLY!! Shame that I like playing " dot link" but won't any longer. I understand the ad concept. But these guys really can get on your nerves. While playing one game only, you will have random ads throughout the one game. Poof! you're in an ad. And then they've the nerve to make you go through another to advance to the next game play. I'll find another.

I just started using this app & so far, I'm racking up a lot of points. I gave 3 ☆'s because I don't like that it's showing an ad after every level I complete. It's annoying as hell! I understand that ads have 2 be shown, so I don't have to add $$$ 2 play, but after every level? Why not show multiple ads in the beginning or after 20 levels, then 30, etc, because the way it is now makes me not want to play your games.

Ads ... ads ... and more ads ... ads after every level, okay annoying, but I get it ... but ads right smack in the middle of a level right as you are plotting all the moves .. now that's absolutely ridiculous!! Most of the levels take less than 60 seconds, so an ad every minute of gameplay is already crazy, but during a puzzle level is just greedy. I don't even pay attention to ads when they are this highly trafficked, so you guys aren't getting commission from me whatsoever.

Decent game, could do without the whole "help me decorate" thing. You don't actually do anything, but unlock spots in a room with keys you earn with when you win a level. There's just a pre-determined sticker for the slot. If decorating a space is going to be a part of the game, then let people do that. Give them choices. I would rather either it be a game of just dot puzzles or a game with actual story and decorating with puzzles as how you progress. Not some half thought out thing tacked on.

very easy to complete. not a challenge. it takes 3 - 5 seconds to finish a puzzle and then it requires 2 minutes through a video to go onto the next puzzle to spend 3 - 5 seconds solving to go onto 2 more minutes of an ad. there's more ads to this game than there is actually a game. I'm only playing for best play cash. once that's completed no more of this game.

There is nothing that really changes for the gameplay loop, just connect dots over similar puzzles over and over. The game forces ads at you every 2 levels completed, and places ads underneath the game as well, sometimes causing the game to slow down or drop frames. But you can watch an unskippable add for 1 key towards level progression! Some levels are blocked off unless you purchase them, even though ads are EVERYWHERE. Fine game to kill time every now and then, but very little variety.

This the best dot connect puzzle I have ever seen. The interface is terrific. It is easy to connect dots in complicated layouts. It doesn't clear other lines when you accidentally bump into them. It allows you to stop and then continue again. I have large fingers so this is a big help. It does get difficult, but I am on level 67. It makes it easier to try out various possibilities. Update: Now they are starting to interrupt a puzzle with an ad break. Ruins the game. Uninstalled.

Know what's nice? A chill game where you can slightly challenge your mind. A fantastic means of passing the time. Know what's not great? Having that ruined with a barrage of ads. I understand, ads keep the app free. But the frequency of an ad every minute is rubbish. If they had ads just between levels, that'd be fine. But when you're in the middle of a level and get interrupted with an ad, it gets irritating. I'm now just motivated to clear the level as fast as I can before an ad interrupts!

The game plays fine, but the frequency of ads is ridiculous. Especially when they play in the middle of a puzzle, which is almost every round. It takes you out of the challenge, and makes it mind-numbing in an awful way. Keeping the game free is one thing, but this is just greedy. Plus I feel like they've gotten worse. I'm on level 104 and it's getting to a point where I might just uninstall. Put the ads after the levels please, not in the middle of them.

I love this game, and as of a couple of weeks back, I would have given five stars, but I've downgraded to three because they have added these "Ad Break" random push ads that interrupt play about every two minutes. It's super annoying, and rather frequently freezes the game forcing me to close and reload, losing progress. I get the need for revenue, but this is ridiculous. Fix the freezing issue and extend the time between the occurrences, and it will be five stars again. Less stars because of it

levels look pretty easy now (level 10) no payout yet .... But I'm pretty sure they'll get a whole lot more challenging as I progress through the levels. So far the game play is very fun, very fast and engaging. but I'm still waiting on the 1st prizes and if it's all truly honest about the payouts amounts.... I'll be posting very soon the results!

Arrived here via one of those "pays to play" apps, but the truth of those apps is that they don't pay you to play the games — they pay you to watch the ads. And oh BOY does this game deliver the ads! Maybe when the puzzles actually become difficult, I'll spend more time solving than watching. EDIT: nope, ads mid-level too. 😕

The game is fun and becomes challenging but the Ads! Oh the ads! Not only do you have to watch an ad after each level but in-between your game! Take too long to figure out the puzzle and it closes and goes to an ad! I'm playing it through a money making app, so I'm not sure if that's why the excessive ads. I understand ads, but interrupting your game as you are trying to figure out your moves is very frustrating.

This game is a lot of fun, and as it requires strategic moves, it's brain-challenging. I've noticed that I'm able to learn new things quicker at work in creating chatbots AND making money doing something fun. I'm on level 31. For those playing games for pennies, this app will have $ to $$$ so you know which games at that time are paying the most at that time. $2 for playing this one for 26 minutes isn't bad!
