The game used to be fairly decent, but now its just horrendous! The UI is utterly confusing, the overall feel of the game has plummeted, Soul boosts got removed making battles harder, chrono crystals are really difficult to come by if you aren't paying for it! I Absolutely hate the new experience. I wish it could go back to the old ways, at least bring back the of UI and make a dark loading screen... I hate the white option
Reviews for DRAGON BALL LEGENDS
← Back to DRAGON BALL LEGENDSBest game on the app store, for me. I have played it since it's launch in 2019. It was frustrating me at times, because the best fighters drop chance is really slim if you don't spend $. But if you have disposable income, I recommend you spend it on deals such as unlocking the bonus drops from each month's battle pass plans, because 10$ for 3000 Chrono crystals is a sweet deal. this used to be a 1 star review, but I saw the Devs corrected the things that annoyed me.
The game gets pretty unfair at a point, one example is pvp. When I fight pvp I tend to get put up against people who are using multiple zenkai 7 buffs, while I have none. Also, the games system for getting characters sucks. A pity system or a nearly free unit (that's actually pretty good) every now and then would be a great way to make it less rng based. Even if those were added, getting awakening z power without events is difficult for me (I haven't researched but all I know is events & summon)
I've been playing this game for years. Its awesome the animations, the events, the challenges and much more specially bringing us characters periodically and everything almost unique cuz there are some but just a very few that seems recycled on some characters. Always areas of improvement but overall its fantastic and more if you are a fan of DBZ Saga. I would like devs to incorporate Ultra Finish to Ultra characters same or better than Legendary ones with those cinema quality.
It's fun, but this game CHEATS. At anything higher than beginner levels, enemies will just be bordering unbeatable. They have a ton of health on top of multiple forms/phases. Combat is where it really starts to cheat. Enemies will be almost perfect dodging and avoiding you, but combo-ing you with near laser precision, landing almost every attack they throw. And if you think the auto battle might help you, good luck your CPU is missing the "i" in A.I. it will often be literally standing around.
This game might be good but it's impossible to enjoy. There are so many things going on at once and every screen is met with tutorial after tutorial throwing so much information at once that it's hard to retain and 0% fun to experience. And what's worse; a lot of times the tutorials aren't fully helpful, such as requiring you to pay attention to what color card they used, but failing in any way to indicate how I'm supposed to determine this. Frustrating waste of time.
It's sad because I really used to enjoy this game, but as it is right now there are too many issues with the game in its current state. I'm getting crashes on a weekly basis despite having a newer high end phone. Clearing cache and completely reinstalling the game isn't fixing it. Balancing issues are at an all time high as of now too. Almost every new unit causes a problem now that they sell you a fix to with the next one and makes PvP insufferable. Hard to compete w/o constant spending.
This game sucks. Unless you play the game non-stop for years on end, you'll never be able to compare to people with the "new best" type of units that ruin the game entirely. The game is extremely P2W and doesn't hide it. The F2P side of things is only good at the start and falls off quickly if you're determined. Very rarely do they give out ways to get more CC and the games pvp is honestly horrible when every new character is insanely OP compared to old ones. Every unit you get will get thrown.
Decent animation. Fun and slightly balanced units by themselves. I personally like this game. It's only downsides being the equipment awakening system, arts boosting, summoning, and also the lack of events to get a sufficient amount of cc. Being f2p makes this game much harder, whereas being p2w ensures a better experience. Would recommend, but only if you're a grinder and not looking for momentary excitement.
The best anime dragon ball game ever on mobile. The controls, graphics and animations of this game are top notch like PC Dragon Ball games. I've been playing this game for 4 years now, but still lags(server issues) few times in pvp and co-op. Edit: Now it's much better than previous. But the overall experience is very awesome 👌.
I really like this game. very engaging story and cool characters. I really like the story and not that hard to play. My only complaint is the new 7 year update made the home screen really hard to maneuver and I kind of liked the old setup better. Overall great game though!
If you are a lifelong Dragon Ball fan or just recently getting into the series, this anime PvP fighting game is perfect for both hardcore and casual fans of the manga and anime. This is extremely fun, fast-paced and exciting to play, either solo, with friends or with other people globally. I love that you get to collect a diverse cast of heroes and villains in this game from Dragon Ball and I get to battle with other players from around the world to be the best! Overall, a 5/5 star rating!
I am happy to say that after a good couple years of playing this game that I finally quit. If you like seeing your favorite characters and their transformation on a mobile app and being able to play as those characters then this game is for you. Just know that it comes at the price of raging at your screen for hours and being shafted on multiple banners. you also need to have money or else you won't survive in the pvp game mode which is the main point of the game. Adios dbl its been terrible.
It could be so much better. You have so many multiples of the same characters to where a majority of the characters are redundant. Why are there four/five different Galdo or Chiatzou? The tutorials are brain numbing, unavoidable, and much longer than the gameplay. After about a month of playing and summoning fighters you will finally have a sense of "feeling ready to actually play the game." When you see the micro leveling system you'll know what I'm talking about, good luck. RIP Akira Toriyama
I got this game at the start of the 3rd anniversary. its kept me entertained the whole time, the 1 mobile game id ever spend money on. I like all the variety, and different battle elements. its the best it gets when it comes to mobile dragon ball games (sorry dokkan) I really can only complain that sometimes its hard to consistently get chrono crystals, but besides that, def 10/10 game
The game is great, it's very fun at times and getting into it isn't hard at all, I think it'd be better if the rewards for completing challenges and the like were better. For example, we could lower the price required to summon, or we could get more free to play friendly options for people who don't spend money on this game. I like the new changes, and the devs are super responsive, even fixing a problem we had mere days after we made it known.
Great game, animations are good, characters have amazing detail and attacks. It's just... the game feels too p2w. Like at the time of writing this review, there is a summon going on where you can get an ULTRA (best rarity in the game) guaranteed, but it COSTS 7,000 CHRONO CRYSTALS!!! AND IT ONLY LASTS FOR 72 HOURS... Crystals are easy but hard to get. Sure, there are tons of events that give them, but the really rewarding amounts take a lot of time to get while the small amounts are easy to get.
I've watched DBZ since I was a kid. I recently wanted to play a DB game and I stumbled upon this a couple of months ago. It's a lot of data to download, so if your phone doesn't have a ton of storage space it may not be ideal to download it all (it's like 10gb I believe). And sure it kinda sucks that every time they release a character it trumps many of the last, and if you don't have real money to spend on the CC to summon, it takes time to grind for them in the story and events. Overall 9/10.
I enjoy the way how this fighting game works, I have put a fair amount of time into this game and I did not input any money into this game. It's enjoyable and engaging. However, as of lately I have been having more than just one problem. The amount of in-game currency that you need in order to get the chance of getting a character who is already unbalanced is too high, characters aren't balanced despite their claims, and The PVP is extremely buggy.
I love this game a lot, but I really wish that some of the ultra units would just stay a little bit longer and the Chrono crystals would be kind of easier to get where we didn't have to use money all the time and just sometimes the Ultras are kind of too hard to get as well like. remember we could do a quest to get the Ultra that we want
