Description

I’ve been playing Ensemble Stars Music for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile rhythm game where you get to build up your own idol agency and put on live shows. Pretty solid app if you’re into anime-style idol music and rhythm gameplay.

Here’s what you do: you can unlock and level up different idols, customize their outfits, and set them as the ‘center’ performer for your live shows. The live stages have 4 difficulty levels so you can choose something that fits your skill. And there’s also a 3D live mode where you can watch the idols perform their songs in stylish music videos. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s pretty cool.

Look, if you’re a fan of rhythm games or just love listening to catchy idol tunes, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can get grindy at higher levels – but overall it’s a fun time-killer. Worth checking out, especially if you’re into the Ensemble Stars franchise.

Editor Opinion

So here's my honest take on Ensemble Stars Music. I've tested a bunch of rhythm/idol games and this one's a pretty solid entry. The music is great, the live shows are visually impressive, and the progression system gives you plenty to work towards. But it's not without its flaws - the grind can get repetitive after a while and the ads are kind of annoying if you don't pay. Overall though, I'd say it's a pretty fun game that fans of the genre will likely enjoy.
