I've played a lot of gacha games before, and am pretty jaded to the genre. However, Epic7 does not feel like a gacha game to me much at all. My favorite aspects are the stories, quests, and other content by far! I will say that the prices for ingame purchases are really high, in my opinion. I'd spend money on the game to support it if the cost/value ratio were better. You do not need to spend money on the game in order to do well, though, and the game to me is not play to win.

Plays very well on Nox emulator so far, having rerolled my account roughly 82 times through the tutorial. The GMs are quite kind to start off players with generous gifts right now, so it's highly recommended to start playing while they're still at it. It's quite fair for a gacha game, if you look at FGO's rates. The cinematic-style animations are the main draw for me though - they're incredibly high-quality, and to its credit as a Hero Collector game, I do want to collect as many as possible just so I can see their skill animations. Do note that the voice packs are in either English or Korean; sadly there's no Japanese voice packs, at least not yet. But here's to hoping!

This game brings nothing special to the table. The campaign story and dialogue is all right. You can have your team auto but there are some cases in which you might want to go manual to get yourself out of tough spots. This isn't an action game and is more of a set it and forget it kind of game. So far I haven't had large issues with understanding things but the game does throw a decent amount of things at you as you progress so you'll have to plan out how to make the most out of your time and stamina. The game seems to be geared more towards people that spend a lot of time on their phones gaming instead of the casual mobile gamer that maybe goes on to play for a few minutes to an hour per day during some free time. The gacha rates are horrendous and make you wonder if there's even a point in having a rate up banner if you're not even guaranteed a 4-star after X number of pulls like other games do. To date I haven't seen any pull guarantees or step-up gacha events in this game so I have no incentive to put money towards the gacha system.Your pulls are diluted between "artifact" support cards and characters. Having a large roster of both artifacts and characters would be best to take different scenarios into account. So far I've been able to progress in the game by building mainly 1 team but you'll need a large roster of characters to be a completionist and meet all mission objectives in missions. For the reasons above this game gets very little of my attention. 2.5/5 for being "just okay".

The new U.I. is not great, and having to scroll through one extra menu compared to the old U.I. where I had everything there is kinda annoying. Along with that, the loss of the map kinda loses a lot of the charm the game had. I liked the exploring of the map and the side parts gave nice spotlights to others and really dislike the lack of battle, as I liked grinding out characters in those PvE levels as it gave me a chance to tweak their builds and test out new characters.

as someone who played since 2018. game was fun when a friend recommended it. over the last year or so tho, the company has made some very bad calls. selling gear with newer units, cutting content when they need more stuff to do. yes they added new stuff but at cost of content that they didn't need to cut. gear grind is extremely rng dependant. the current arena situation is the worst to. there's no variety of teams to fight. it's all just tank down with same 3-4 teams an boring as heck. not fun

One of the best mobile gachas I've ever played, and I've played quite a few. The story as well as the world is well-crafted, the characters are well thought-out and the character models and animations are easily top-tier. I've only just finished the 6th World episode, but it was enough to show me the love and effort that was put into this amazing game. The only thing that I found slightly disconcerting was the luck I had trying to pull a 5 star character, but everyone has different luck so 🤷🏼

I have played this game from the beginning. once I even had it at 5 star. however, I have seen the decline of the game. they have made good improvements in features, however the quality of the characters has gone down. I am not interested in school themes with existing characters. it went from an epic fantasy to something else. that is unfortunate.

Returned after a few years and decided to create and play with a new acc since i forgot almost everything and I can say this game is more newbie friendly than it's have ever been. The origin update is very good you can get a lot of heroes and artifacts. The new guide is better compared to the old. The voiceover story is the best part for me and I wish there was more of this. The new interface felt good too. It's the Best time to try out the game if you are an old returning player or a new player.

An aging game that's struggling to remain fun. The grindy nature of the game has long been tough but it's entering a stage where everything feels slow and just... boring. New modes appear now and then which is nice. The biggest issue is once again that the game doesn't respect your time - almost all modes don't have a quick battle or skip option meaning you press buttons to watch the game auto for hours on end.

The game was perfect, at least for the duration of 3 to 4 years, but starting from the major guild war overhaul, the game started losing it's unique features, losing it's identity, update after an update. An now, a complete overhaul, that made the game almost unrecognizable to me, i'v been playing it for 4 consecutive years now. The last update is buggy, hard to navigate around, and i dislike the new UI, it's just bad
