Description
Been playing Exploding Kittens® for a couple months now. It’s basically a card game where you try not to draw the Exploding Kitten card – if you do, you’re out! But you can use all sorts of other cards like laser pointers and catnip sandwiches to defuse the kittens.
There’s a ton of strategy involved – you’ve gotta plan ahead and try to screw over your friends. And there are different modes too, like the Party Pack and the Betrayal expansion. And it gets really fun when you play with a group and everyone’s trying to sabotage each other.
Look, if you’re into card games and strategy, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take a while and the ads can get annoying – but overall it’s a pretty solid time killer. Worth checking out if you want an addictive game to play with friends.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Exploding Kittens®. I've tested a bunch of strategy card games and this one's up there. The gameplay is super fun and there's a lot of depth, but it never feels too complicated. And the online multiplayer works well and it's easy to find random matches. The only downsides are that the progression can get grindy and the monetization is a bit aggressive. But for a free game, it's a pretty great package.
