So here's my honest take on Fairway Solitaire - Card Game. I've tested a bunch of mobile strategy/solitaire games and this one's actually pretty darn good. And the core gameplay loop is super addictive and I love how they blended the solitaire and golf themes. It's challenging enough to keep you engaged but not so complex that it feels like work. Definitely one of the better casual strategy games I've come across.

Description

I’ve been playing Fairway Solitaire – Card Game for a couple months now. It’s basically a unique card strategy game where solitaire and golf combine into an easy to play puzzle game. You just play one card up or one card down from your draw pile to clear the puzzle board as you take on challenging golf solitaire puzzles on hand-painted, scenic courses from around the world.

There’s a ton of strategic depth here – you gotta think a few moves ahead to stay on par and remove the most cards. And the game’s got a bunch of fun features like different golf clubs you can use to give you an edge. Took me a while to figure some of it out but it’s pretty intuitive overall.

Look, if you’re into casual strategy games and solitaire, you’ll probably really enjoy this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades do take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid game that’s easy to pick up and hard to put down.
