I’ve been playing FINAL FANTASY IV: TAY for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic JRPG sequel that takes place nearly 20 years after the events of FINAL FANTASY IV. You get to control a whole bunch of characters, both old and new, in their own individual stories that all tie together. Pretty cool setup if you’re into that kind of thing.
The gameplay is your standard JRPG affair – you explore dungeons, fight monsters, level up your party, and take on epic boss battles. But there’s a ton of strategic depth here too. You can really optimize your team and gear to take on the tougher challenges. And the graphics have been fully remastered in 3D, so it looks great on modern devices.
Look, if you’re a fan of the FINAL FANTASY series or just love classic JRPGs, you’ll probably have a blast with this game. It’s not perfect – the pacing can feel a bit slow at times, and the grind to level up characters gets old after a while. But overall, it’s a pretty solid entry in the franchise that I’d recommend checking out.
