Description
I’ve been playing Fishdom for a couple months now. It’s basically a match-3 puzzle game where you complete levels to unlock and decorate your own underwater aquarium. Sounds pretty simple but there’s actually a good amount of strategy involved.
You’ve got your standard match-3 gameplay – gotta line up 3 or more of the same fish to clear them. There’s tons of levels with different challenges, plus power-ups and boosters to help you out. But the real fun is decorating your aquarium. You can unlock all sorts of cute fish and pets, plus loads of decorations to really make it your own. Feels like a good mix of puzzle solving and creativity.
Look, if you’re into casual mobile games, you’ll probably enjoy Fishdom. It’s not perfect – the upgrades and stuff take forever at higher levels, and the ads can get annoying. But overall it’s a pretty solid time-killer that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a new game to mess around with.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Fishdom. I've tested a bunch of match-3 and aquarium management games, and this one's a pretty good combo of the two. The core puzzle gameplay is satisfying and the customization features give you a nice creative outlet. It's free to play, so you don't have to spend money to get a good experience.
The downsides are that it can get repetitive after a while, and the progression does start to feel grindy at higher levels. But if you're just looking for a casual game to fiddle with for 10-15 minutes at a time, Fishdom delivers. It's not the most innovative game out there, but it gets the basics right and is polished enough to be worth checking out.
